As my contribution to the Hive Learners Creative Sunday and my love for art and drawings. I decided to participate in the week art and sketch initiative.
This is an artwork, I should call it a pen work. Most times arts and sketches are made using pencils. But I have decided to step up my game and use a pen for all I will be drawing.
You can only define a true artist when they can come up with an artwork out of anything and not just so dependent on certain materials. The advantage of using a pencil over a pen is that it could be easily erased. But as for pens, once you make a mistake then you have to start over again.

STEP BY STEP
STEP 1: Sketching of the Banner frame
The first step was to sketch the banner frame. I started from this part because it would give me a perfect angle to position all the other parts of the body I want to add to the artwork.
STEP 2: Sketching the arm and body and fingers
After sketching the banner which was a little easy, the next thing I had to do was to sketch the arms and the suits. The arm sketch was successful. Then I hand them a proper sketch of the fingers and put them in a position of holding the banner.
STEP 3: Tracing the Banner and body
After positioning the body and the banner then I decided to trace. Tracing is all about giving a proper and clearer view from a sketch. When you trace it gives the final chance to make changes and corrections to the artwork.
I started by tracing the banner, then the suits and then the contents in the banner. That’s more of what it takes to get the artworks done. From the sketch I made sure I corrected some of the parts I made mistakes after the review.
STEP 4: Final touch
Giving it a final touch makes the art more incredible. This is where I had to give the suits some design, and also if I were to draw a face for the art then this is the time I would give them the views they deserve.
STEP 9: Shading
After all, I got to shade and shadow it. This was to give it a better life appearance from angles.
