The INTERNET is killing old PC hardware
The internet's demands are making old PCs worthless due to their inability to browse modern websites smoothly, despite efforts to optimize with lightweight operating systems and browsers.
Old Hardware Struggles
- 📊 Old laptops struggle to load basic websites due to high demands of modern websites.
- 📺 Video playback is slow and choppy, even with plugins like h264 IFI.
- 📈 CPU usage is high, often reaching 100%, when loading websites or playing videos.
Solutions and Workarounds
- 🤔 Installing lightweight operating systems like Windows 7 or Linux can help, but it's not a complete solution.
- 📊 Using plugins like h264 IFI can improve video playback, but it's not a solution for every problem.
- 🚫 Installing ad blockers might help reduce the load on old hardware, but it's not a definitive solution.
