Patience is the only virtue that became KING

Since I can remember I have always heard that saying from everyone's mouths and yesterday I saw how it became a reality again with the Ballon d'Or for Harry Kane. The citizen, as we know him in the world of football, has always been a lethal striker but he always fell short of winning titles. His bad luck has been so great that the year he left Tottenham, the Spurs won the UEFA Europa League

The hurricane headed to Germany to see if his luck with titles at Bayern Munich changed, but in his first season he again left without titles, displaced in the Cup very early and coinciding with the season of Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen. For the second season, luck finally smiled on the Englishman after winning his first title at the club level: the Bundesliga. To a large extent, the Bavarian team owes that title to its striker, as it once again became the leader in goals in the German season. In such a short time, the 33-year-old English forward has won four titles at club level: two consecutive Bundesliga titles (2024-2025 and 2025-2026), a DFB Pokal or German Cup (2026) and also a Super Cup (2026), also being a leading scorer and has become the perfect replacement that Bayern was looking for after the departure of Robert Lewandowski

We enter the 2025-2026 season, where, as we already said, Kane began to win in earnest to win the Ballon d'Or after a fantastic season on an individual and collective level: domestic treble with Bayern Munich, also being the leading scorer in all its competitions, sub-leader in scoring in the Champions League and helping his country, England, to a creditable third place in the recently concluded World Cup that was held in North America. He also continued to consecrate his great season with many individual titles such as the European Golden Boot, the ideal XI of the Champions League and the World Cup, among many others until finally obtaining the highest individual award became a reality this October 26 in London, defeating Kylian Mbappé and Lamine Yamal, respectively, in close voting. In this way, Harry becomes the fifth Englishman to win the Ballon d'Or, after well-known names such as Stanley Matthews, Sir Bobby Charlton, Kevin Keegan, who won it twice, being the only Englishman to do so, and Michael Owen, who was the last Three Lions footballer to achieve such an award back in 2001 and breaks a 45-year drought without a Bayern Munich player having won a Ballon d'Or, the last one being the German star. Karlz-Heinz Rummeniegge
