That's Just an Idea... but Maybe I Can Make It Happen!

Ok, I can never really keep my hands off Splinterlands: every time I reach a stable situation, I soon start wondering if I can do something more, trying to take my collection and my overall investment to an even higher level.

Lately, I’ve been completely focused on renting my assets, selling my Chaos Legion set cards and purchasing others from the Rebellion set, while slowly and steadily increasing the number of SPS I own.

As a result, for several months now I’ve had a steady flow of incoming DEC, which I earn by dedicating just 5 minutes per week to the game — just enough time to renew my SPS rental through xbot.app, swap the VOUCHERs I’ve received for DEC, and check how my card rentals are doing.

It’s an ideal situation that allows me to accumulate resources I can then reinvest in the game, all with an excellent time spent/earnings ratio.

I’ve been using these resources I’m accumulating to buy SPS twice a month, converting 1000 DEC into SPS each time.

However, right now my earnings are above 1000 DEC every two weeks: based on my calculations I earn roughly 100 DEC per day, so I end up with about 1000 DEC left over every month.

So I started wondering...

What to do with it?

I really don’t have a reason to just accumulate DEC without doing anything with it.

Right now DEC is also very close to its peg, so there’s hardly a better time to spend it.

So I’ve started playing with an idea in my head: what if I used this DEC to start buying Conclave Arcana set cards as soon as they become available on the market? Or at least shortly after they’re released?

The Conclave Arcana set looks to be a very promising one, with cards that are generally powerful and likely to be in high demand on the rental market.

They’ll also be the cards that stay the longest in the Modern Format and, since I’ve always focused solely on that format, and seeing how the Rebellion cards have increased in value — packs now sell for more than 4 dollars — I’d obviously love to start building a small collection of this new set as well.

Only, up to now, I always had to sell other cards I owned in order to do that...

... but this time it might be different!

1 BCX at a time

Since I’ll be saving about 1000 DEC each month, I could use that to buy Common or Rare cards from the Conclave Arcana set, gradually adding new BCX assets to my collection.

I could then rent out those cards too and further increase the amount I can reinvest in buying new ones.

That way, each month I could:

• buy SPS
• buy new cards

It would all be done on a small scale — we’re still talking about roughly 3 dollars — but it’s a start nonetheless.

And I hope to see my card rental income go even higher once the CL set officially leaves the Modern Format. Maybe from that moment on I’ll be able to rely on an even higher budget — well, relatively speaking 🤣

E' Solo un'Idea... ma Forse Posso Realizzarla!

Ok, su Splinterlands non riesco mai a starmene con le mani in mano: ogni volta che arrivo ad una situazione stabile, dopo poco già comincio a chiedermi se posso fare qualcosa di più, nel tentativo di portare la mia collezione ed il mio investimento in generale ad un livello ancora più elevato.

Ultimamente mi sono focalizzato completamente sul noleggio dei miei assets, vendendo le mie carte del set Chaos Legion ed acquistandone altre dal set Rebellion, nonchè incrementando lentamente e costantemente il numero di SPS in mio possesso.

Il risultato è che da diversi mesi ho un flusso costante in entrata di DEC, che ottengo dedicando appena 5 minuti di tempo ogni settimana al gioco - giusto il tempo di rinnovare il noleggio dei miei SPS tramite il sito xbot.app, swappare i VOUCHER che ho ottenuto in cambio di DEC e controllare come vanno i noleggi delle mie carte.

E' una situazione ideale che mi permette di accumulare risorse che poi posso reinvestire nel gioco, il tutto con un ottimo rapporto tempo speso/guadagno.

Queste risorse che sto accumulando le sto utilizzando per acquistare due volte al mese SPS, convertendo ogni volta 1000 DEC in SPS.

Attualmente però le mie entrate sono superiori a 1000 DEC ogni due settimane: secondo i miei calcoli ottengo all'incirca 100 DEC al giorno, per cui ogni mese mi avanzano circa 1000 DEC.

E quindi ho cominciato a chiedermi...

Cosa farne?

Non ho infatti motivi per accumulare DEC senza farci niente.

In questo momento DEC è inoltre vicinissimo al suo peg, per cui difficilmente può esserci occasione migliore per spenderlo.

Perciò ho cominciato ad accarezzare un'idea nella mia testa: e se usassi questo DEC per iniziare ad acquistare carte del set Conclave Arcana non appena queste saranno disponibili sul mercato? O, insomma, comunque poco dopo il loro arrivo?

Il set Conclave Arcana si preannuncia come un set molto interessante, con carte mediamente potenti e che, probabilmente, saranno molto richieste sul mercato dei noleggi.

Saranno inoltre le carte destinante a restare più a lungo nel Modern Format e, dato che mi sono sempre e solo concentrato su questo, e visto che quelle del set Rebellion hanno aumentato il loro valore - i pacchetti ora si vendono a più di 4 dollari -, mi piacerebbe ovviamente iniziare costruire una piccola collezione anche di questo nuovo Set.

Solo che fino ad oggi avevo sempre dovuto vendendo in cambio le altre carte che possedevo...

... mentre stavolta potrebbe essere diverso!

1 BCX alla volta

Dato che ogni mese metterò da parte circa 1000 DEC, potrei utilizzarli per acquistare carte Comuni o Rare del set Conclave Arcana, aggiungendo BCX dopo BCX nuovi assets alla mia collezione.

Potrei poi noleggiare anche queste carte ed incrementare così ancora di più le somme che posso reinvestire nell'acquisto di nuove carte.

In questo modo ogni mese potrei:

• acquistare SPS
• acquistare nuove carte

Tutto sarebbe fatto in piccolo - stiamo pur sempre parlando di circa 3 dollari - ma è pur sempre un inizio.

E poi spero di vedere i miei introiti derivanti dal noleggio delle carte salire ancora di più quando il set CL abbandonerà definitivamente il Modern Format. Magari a partire da quel momento potrò contare su un budget ancora più alto - be', alto sempre relativamente parlando 🤣
