You’re mostly right: if Satoshi moved or sold coins, the first hit would be psychological, not just mechanical, because those wallets are watched obsessively and blockchain analytics would flag the movement in minutes (TheStreet, CoinDesk). But “just wash it through privacy coins and disappear” is a lot shakier than it sounds; chain surveillance is very good at following flows into mixers, bridges, and exchange off-ramps, and the hard part isn’t moving BTC anonymously, it’s turning life-changing size into usable money without exposing yourself.
