Hive continúa creciendo a pasos agigantados. Para quienes llevamos años usando las redes sociales de Hive, y que hemos hecho onboarding en el ecosistema de web3, sabe lo mucho que nos han preguntado por los Smart contracts, una de las herramientas en blockchain más populares. Y sin embargo, VSC lo hará posible con Hive.
Este es un proyecto al que le tengo la mira hace rato porque precisamente los desarrolladores que he conocido en Lima, desean desplegar Smart contracts. Y ahora podrán hacerlo.
Además, este proyecto abrirá la economía de Hive convirtiéndolo en una potencia DeFi, dónde podremos hacer staking líquido con HBD.
Es un trabajo arduo el que están haciendo los chicos que lideran el proyecto, desde hacer pruebas en la red, hasta participar en eventos para compartir sus avances con los demás.
Siempre me han dicho que Hive ha perdurado en el tiempo gracias a su comunidad que ha hecho posible el crecimiento. Y hemos sido una comunidad con lazos muy fraternales entre nosotros. Pero hay una realidad, y es que muchas cadenas han evolucionado para ser interoperable con otras redes. Esto impulsará aún más la adopción de nuestro ecosistema y será muy atractivo para programadores y builders DeFi. 👏
En marzo de este año @vsc.network lanzó la mainnet y hasta la fecha hay más de 30 nodos desplegados. Y tienen una propuesta para que todos los usuarios conozcamos los avances y apoyemos la financiación de su ejecución Léela aquí de forma efectiva.
Aunque yo no sepa desplegar estos contratos en definitiva me animaría a hacerlo en Hive, para comprender aún más las oportunidades que se abren con esta nueva capa.
Imagina un internet en dónde las redes colaboran entre sí y dónde los usuarios pueden aprovechar las bondades y beneficios de sus productos y/o servicios, sin tener que estar aislados. Bueno, ese es el futuro que se quiere construir 😍

Hive continues to grow by leaps and bounds.
For those of us who have been using Hive's social networks for years and have onboarded into the Web3 ecosystem, we know just how often we've been asked about smart contracts—one of the most popular tools in blockchain. And now, VSC is making them possible on Hive.
This is a project I've had my eye on for a while, especially because many developers I've met in Lima want to deploy smart contracts. And now, they'll be able to.
Moreover, this project will open up Hive’s economy, turning it into a DeFi powerhouse, where we'll be able to do liquid staking with HBD.
It’s a huge effort being led by the team behind this initiative—from testing on the network to participating in events to share their progress with the community.
I’ve always been told that Hive has endured over time thanks to its community, which has made growth possible. And we've been a community with strong fraternal ties. But there's a reality we must face: many chains have evolved to become interoperable with other networks. This will further boost adoption of our ecosystem and make it highly attractive for DeFi developers and builders. 👏
In March of this year, @vsc.network launched its mainnet, and to date, over 30 nodes have been deployed. They also have a proposal so that all users can stay informed about their progress and effectively support the funding of its execution:
Even though I don’t know how to deploy these contracts myself (yet), I’d definitely be encouraged to try it on Hive—to better understand the opportunities that come with this new layer.
Imagine an internet where networks collaborate with each other, and where users can take advantage of the features and benefits of various products and services—without being isolated. That’s the future we want to build. 😍
