Understanding cryptocurrency requires knowledge of the free market

There's one thing the world has made a norm to point out as the "flaw" of cryptocurrencies, but as they say, people perish for the lack of knowledge, the bliss that comes with ignorance can be quite comforting that it's difficult to learn and grow out of its shadows, anybody willing to watch and learn begins to understand not only the cryptocurrency ecosystem but the world economies.

Being involved in cryptocurrency and blockchain requires a lot, the reason for this is because it exposes one to the many possibilities that come with actually possessing power, here's where we can factor in the government's attempt to restrict it and create a system that draws this power back to them(CBDCs).

Recently, there have been imposed limits on Fiat-based transactions in Nigeria, a move speculated to be projected to force people to utilize its CBDC, the e-naira. Asides from the fact that this is slavery, similar to the past move by the Israeli government to reduce ceilings in what they said was needed to fight against the free flow of dirty cash as Fiat is difficult to trace when it doesn't interact with a banking institution, all of this points to the fact that the cryptocurrency economy is geared to restructure the current economic system and it totally closes the door on leverage for these authorities.

Free Market and Cryptocurrency

Many times when people are asked what they think of cryptocurrencies, they end most of their voiced opinions with "it's too volatile". It is understood from a point of "sustainability" but it only is a problem for ecosystems that are not built for such atmospheres.

With a deeper look at the entire cryptocurrency ecosystem, they are quite a number of notable solutions to the volatility of assets, the most obvious is decentralized finance, even though not so much of a practical solution given that most of these products are exposed to the volatility of the underlying asset, looking at the risk of impermanent loss, alternative products like stablecoin pools and single taking pools play a significant role in curbing the effects of price volatility.

In ecosystems like Hive, most of these things are not much of a burden and we frankly don't even have full flesh DeFi structures - looking at liquidity and the leverage of layer 2 or secondary blockchains to deploy these products, the reality is DeFi as the crypto industry sees it, is not on Hive - but that's such a wrong opinion to voice, anyone that understands basic concepts of DeFi would realize that what we have on Hive, is, in fact, decentralized finance.

Volatility is not a flaw

Cryptocurrency is a free market, seeking regulation as a solution to that is simply changing the system, and doesn't really seem like what would help the ecosystem materialize its full potential.

The government understands full well that we will eventually have it all figured out, what is currently happening is an attempt to stop that from happening, but one thing is obvious, we can only be slowed down, not stopped.

The Free Market always finds its strength and grows through it; anyone who is impatient with the process will either get rekt or simply miss out on getting the fat bone. Like I've always said, most people have the wrong impression of what crypto is or should be, and this is why a lot are unable to grow within the system.

Every structure has a pattern of evolution, one is to ignore it, another is to study it, and another is to learn and grow through the studies. The most significant benefit cryptocurrency projects have is being fortunate enough to earn users, but most do not quite know how to leverage this to the fullest. The vast monetization of the userbase of this ecosystem is what will eventually lead to wider adoption, ignoring the leverage right in front of us can be disastrous, sometimes a business does not need to go out in search of new users, it just has to serve the current base well and the marketing will be established from within.
