Status Quo
Hello everyone! The Season has ended, so has January, and it was quite the thing! I ended the Season with a wooping 160k Glint EOS-Reward, plus 140k that I had saved up. The season before the last, we had all gotten a big bonus in Glint, so I decided to not spend it all, but to stretch it out in order to buy as many reward cards as possible - and so I did. I bought the complete first batch of regular, rare and epic last season, and did almost the same at the beginning of this one - just 5k short to buy the last common cards, but that will be in the bag, soon.
Let's look at where it got me!

Commons
Commons are a drag right now. Okay, they're cheap, you get 400 BCX for 60k Glint - but all my commons are at level 8 now, so I need 80 BCX to get them to level 9, and that takes time. But patience is the king here.

Last season, I wasn't able to upgrade any of those cards - this season, I finally got some to level 9. I took out the gold foils here, since they don't really matter. Out of 12 cards, I upgraded 8 to level 9 - what a great feeling! I still love this dopamin rush from upgrading cards, passing a milestone, feeling that the strategy is working out. Lovely.
Cards that are lagging: Hobgoblin (2 BCX to lvl 9), Wild Elf (4 BCX), Explorer (12 BCX) and the Huntress (26 BCX 😪 ). Total: 44 BCX to level 9.
Total BCX missing for max: 1144 BCX (still around 3 seasons away...)

Rare
Rares always feel a little closer to the upgrade. "Only" 25 BCX for Level 7 - way better than 8. BUT - one batch is only 100 BCX, and that costs 75k Glint. So, this, too, takes time.

But progress is made! I finally upgraded one of my favorite cards to level 9 - Commander Slade, and I had the exact amount of BCX to do so. Nice coincidence. Same happened with the Thunderhoof Nomad, a great card for Blast-Battles in Mini-League.
I'm also very happy with my progress on Chaos Adjutant - can't wait to have that one on level 9, so it gains Poison. Scattershot, Magic Damage, Poison and Anti-Fly - this card can and probably will be very helpful.
Next in line is the Razorhound, only 1 BCX to upgrade that one - but I don't use it that often. The Dragon Egg Forager needs another 2 BCX to upgrade, and that's a very cool card to play due to it's Scavenger ability. Then Janni Rebel, which is useful in combination with Elias Max Pruitt sometimes - but I don't have Pruitt on more than level 1, so I don't really use that card.
Worst card: Megalodon (17 BCX to next level)
Bet: The Adjutant will be Max level before the Megalodon gets to level 7.
BCX to level 7: 78
BCX to max: 438 - that's around 5 seasons

EPIIIIIIICS!
Epics are very, very frustrating. You can get so little, and so many times it's just 1 BCX missing for the next level. But there's only 25 BCX per Batch, and they're expensive. 187,500 Glint for the whole batch! Rare and Common combined cost 130,000 Glint... Well, it makes sense, you need a lot less to upgrade them.

Out of 25 cards, I got one BCX of the Conjurer - and that was the one missing to upgrade it to level 4. Fun fact - I got so many Weavers to upgrade that card to level 5 and still have 4 BCX more. Next season I can probably upgrade the Halfling, finally, maybe as well the Reaper and the Blade. Wouldn't count on my luck, though.
Worst card: Conjurer (12 BCX to next level)
Bet: The Weaver will be Max-Level before the Conjurer gets to level 5.
BCX to level 5: 29
BCX to max: 127 (around 6 seasons)

Conclusion
Max level is getting closer, but is still a few seasons away. But my strategy of saving up the Glint is paying off, the progress is visible. Last season was good for rewards, too, and I hope that this season will be quite alike, so I can buy the whole first batch again.
At the end, it will probably take me one more season for each, since I won't be able to max out all cards evenly, and will have to burn some. Also, some cards are always gold foil, which are no use to me - yet. As soon as those get to max level, the 10% extra they provide will make a nice difference - when I play them, but that's not too often, either. Most of the time they just don't fit right into the team, especially in Wild.
