Time to lay down some new goals for 2023 in terms of Hive blockchain assets and I plan to keep them as realistic as I can instead of setting unrealistic objectives. For Hive I will be considering powering up and increasing my influence on the blockchain to this governance token, with for Hive Dollar (HBD) I am planning to continue to feed my Savings account for as long as the sweet 20% APR will hold. It is quite an amazing and safe return that is at the touch of our fingertip with great terms for only 3 days to withdraw. This way you can make use of HBD pretty fast, while for Hive Power things are a little bit more constrained through the 13 weeks cooling periods to get the full amount out of the network.
At the moment I am standing at 13,474.947 Hive Power and 5,679.746 HBD in the Savings account. Considering the following predicted returns during the year, I will be able to set some realistic goals out of them with some additional gains that I could obtain from trading or selling some other assets.
- 3.08% APR for staking Hive
- 9.76% APR for staking and curating using Hive Power
- 20% APR for holding HBD in a Savings account
- 20% gains from content creation, split between Hive Power and HBD in a 50% ratio
- 80% own investment in HBD

The goals that I am setting for 2023 based on the above projected returns (20% for Hive and 110% for HBD) are to reach 16,500 Hive Power and 12,000 HBD. That should give me a good increase over the year and put me in a good position for increasing my earnings out of the assets I hold. If the bear market will turn into a bull market, I intend to benefit from it and take some profits this time, but I don't have many hopes for that. Thus if that will not happen, I will continue building and accumulating by putting my assets to work even when I sleep :).
