There was a time when I was very sure I would sacrifice every other thing for love, I mean what is money when love is involved... This is why love is the greatest, there is no other feeling that can beat the way you feel when you are in love.
There was a time when I did not care for anything, I just wanted to be with the person I loved but life ain't designed that way.
You need to have something worthy to be loved and it is not always money, it could be your intelligence, your muscular physique, your fine face, your beautiful smile, cash, or any other thing the person finds attractive in you but things are kind of different in the gen Z era because money beat all other things now but if we look at it the other way, money can win them but they might go back to the person they truly love in secret which is why cheating is rampant...
To be fair it is mostly guys that love unconditionally, a guy will pick up a lady from the street and make her somebody, he will love and respect her but rarely will you see a lady do that... It is so sad to see a man who is doing well for himself and taking good care of his family lose his job and within a few months of the wife taking responsibility for the family financially start disrespecting the man, this is so common and I have read a lot of news about it.
Does this mean ladies can not love unconditionally? hmm
When it comes to romantic love, I am someone who cares more about the character and behavior than the physical appearance of my partner, I also believe that no one is ugly, it is lack of money that makes some people look the way they are if there is money, they would look good and you will wonder if they were the same person you used to know.
The best love is when the person we love also loves us... and there is nothing as bad as one-sided love, a lot of heartbreaks and pains seeing the one you love to be loving another.
I love unconditionally because all I do is for her to be happy, when she is happy I am happy too, I am not among the guys who will collect all they bought for a girl after a breakup, it means you are doing all those things for her because she was good to you and the moment you fall out, you deem the right thing to do is retrieve all the things you gave her when the relationship was going well.
Love is not about possession, Unconditional love is wishing your partner well when things go bad or you guys fall out, the feeling of wishing the best for the person because there was a time they were the best thing in your life.
