Today's ride plan is to head down Gerroa Road and then ride the South Sand Track through Seven Mile Beach NP to Gerroa and then up the hill to Gerringong. My plan is to stick to the roads and walk part of the track they will ride. Riding sand tracks is not my game

No shoulder section into Gerroa worked fine. Drivers were slowing down when there was an incoming car

Climbed up into Geringong - view north from The Hill pub. Chose not to drop back down to Werri Beach where the riders are headed. Not keen to do the hill twice

Skipped the coffee shop to stop at a known site - Stoic Brewery. Toosed around whether to have a beer. I am here - have a hazy pale ale and eat my sandwich. The other riders bewailed their lack of local knowledge. Took a four pack fornthe panniers
Have learned that a beer taken during a ride ramps up the lactic acid build up in the legs. Was like that for 30 minutes

Longest ride for this year on the end day of the Great Cycle Challenge
Was crazy enough to add two hours of pickleball after the longest ride of the year. No photos. Was an interesting session sphere a big shower of rain in the middle. We retreated to cover for maybe 5 minutes. Blue sky came back. Lots of puddles formed - court not slippery. Occasionally ball do not bounce if it bounced on a puddle.
We had fun. The sun came out and the court dried out.
Was a big day and sure did too much. Shared a few drinks with the riders.
Cooked dinner at our place. Early moves tomorrow..
