I've never given much thought to Bitcoin Cash. To me it was just another "thing" in Coinbase. I understand its history and why it came into being but I really didn't care.

In fact when I joined Noise.Cash a few weeks ago I thought the platform was doomed because it didn't have it's own token and there would be no platform loyalty. It would just be a hit and run for some free bch.

My reason for joining was to market the #projectblank when we were ready to launch because Noise.cash is training microbloggers but they will ultimately earn more with us.

In that regard, I think I'm 100% correct. The Lions over there are building nice networks and are notorious for giving out good tips. (literally just pennies lol). But it's fun and I connect with more Lions there than I do here. (ProjectBlank will fix that)

But the whole bitcoin cash aspect of noise got me thinking because since it was only my first experience with BCH, I didn't realize how easy it was to use. So I wanted to learn more about it.

I managed to find the documentary above and watched it. The biggest takeway from it was the there is a pretty intense marketing and adoption initiative for BCH.

What I noticed in practice was that Noise is now a big part of that marketing success. From what I could gather online is that BCH is trying to build usership in underdeveloped countries with a large number of unbanked populations.

It's pretty smart because it's really cheap to do that and the populations really need peer to peer payments. One of the things that struck me was the "pounding the pavement" people going out to try and onboard local businesses. That's such a hard thing to do in the West.

I'm not sure the relationship Noise has to this core marketing plan and it may have come as just a result of it but Noise has onboarded at least 50,000 users and they are taking to the idea of creating a wallet and sending bch. It's a huge step and has to be considered some type of win.

Getting a few dollars of BCH into the hands of really poor people could really prime the pump and push adoption. I've been reading a little more about BCH and particularly find https://bitcoincash.site/merchants/onboarding/ interesting.

They've already proven that onboarding individuals is rather easy but once people can spend locally it could really be a cool proof of concept win.

One of the things that is constantly echoed is that while it is a speculative token, it is seen internally as a currency and that is where the focus is. Now, I know nothing about technicals or tokenomices but from a normal person perspective BCH adoption seems like a better bet than others that I've read about.

Love to hear thoughts in the comments. While I'm focused on Leo marketing, noise has certainly been an intersting learning experience for me.
