Sunshine and smiles, Hivers! It’s been a while since I last shared a travel blog. In this blog, I will introduce to you one of the top beaches in North Cebu City, Juban Garden Resort. This resort is a hidden gem and majestic destination in the northern part of Cebu. It has also gained popularity across various platforms, making it a favorite spot for travelers to unwind and relax. Let’s get started!
The Juban Garden Resort is a great destination for a getaway with friends and family. At this resort, you can experience the ambiance reminiscent of both Bali and Siargao for just 150 pesos. As soon as you step into the reception area, you'll be greeted by aesthetically pleasing, cozy vibes and stunning architectural designs. The resort also showcases an ethnic concept throughout its cottages, rooms, and other lodging options available on-site. If you're a plant enthusiast, this resort is perfect for you, as Juban Garden Resort features a wide array of plants. The cottages and rooms are built with bamboo, serving as the walls and flooring, while the roofs are made of nipa. The landscape is breathtaking and perfectly enhances the Bali-inspired theme that the resort has embraced.
The resort features two pools: one for adults and one for children. The adult pool ranges in depth from 4 feet to 8 feet. The children's pool has a depth of just 1 foot. Proper swimwear is required to enter the pool; without appropriate attire, you are not allowed to swim. If pools aren't your preference, you can also swim in the wide sea nearby. This resort is a pet friendly, as I have seen pets brought along inside the premises.

We captured a ton of photos during our time here due to the wonderful lighting that Juban had. The bright sunlight provided excellent photo outcomes, complemented by the refreshing salty breeze. Even their restroom is quite impressive and serves as a great backdrop for pictures because of its architectural beauty.
If you're looking to unwind by the pool and enjoy the refreshing sea breeze along with the beautiful sunlight, you’ll likely want to lounging on their poolside benches. These benches surround the pool, allowing you to decide whether to relax and soak in the atmosphere. My friends stay at these benches to play cards and chat while some of us reveled in the clear waters of the pool.
At 4pm, we began packing our belongings and getting ready for our departure. We prefer not to book a room since we couldn't afford it and some of our friends preferred not to stay overnight. We walked for 30 minutes to reach the national road, as there were no tricycles available at that time. This experience has been good for us to strengthen our friendship and celebrate our survival of the entire semester in college. We faced numerous challenges and shed many tears during that period, and perhaps this getaway is the ideal reward for ourselves as we move forward to our next journey.
