There are some times I will just wish I could have the whole Saturday to myself if I had a completely free Saturday with no responsibilities and an unlimited budget. I think I will make the solo Saturday all about myself. It will not be in a selfish way; I will enjoy my own company, and I will be doing things that I enjoy doing, which on a normal day I don't have enough time to do. The moment we become an adult, life becomes so busy we spend most of the time hustling, attending to families, and solving problems. Having a completely free day is one opportunity I will cherish so much.
The first thing that will come to my mind is to give myself a good treat. I will go somewhere very beautiful to have a nice breakfast and a peaceful morning. Heaven knows what will not rush out of the bed or start checking my phones for notifications. I will take my time and wake up. I will step out of my bed with confidence and take a cool shower and head somewhere with a beautiful atmosphere. I will choose somewhere cool with a lovely garden where I will enjoy nature.
I will order a nice breakfast; it will surely be something I have not tried before along with my favorite drink. It will enjoy my food while listening to cool songs. There is this inner peace and comfort sitting alone without feeling like you need someone else to make the moment enjoyable.
It is a period of enjoyment after breakfast. I will explore more because money is never a problem. I will take a spontaneous trip to somewhere I have always wanted to visit. I will see new sights, take pictures, and tour the place; it will be a different experience from my daily routine.
The next on my list is a full self-care and shopping day. I will give myself a baby girl treatment for crying out loud. I deserve it. I have been hustling without giving my body proper treatment without thinking twice. I will visit the nearest beauty shop close to me. I will go for a good spa treatment, massage, and other relaxing treatments. Just having someone else taking care of everything feels amazing.
Oh my God, shopping without an unlimited budget—there are many things that I love, but due to the fact that I can't afford it, I always look past it. I will get things that I genuinely love and things I always wanted. It will be very difficult for me to shop with one or two or family and friends.
I will make sure I end the day with an unforgettable experience. I will come to somewhere special and have dinner somewhere with an amazing view. I will dress nice and smell nice, ordering whatever meal that I want. After dinner I will go to the cinema to see a movie. I can’t end the day without entertaining myself. All my wish is for the day to never end. One sweet thing about this imaginary Saturday is nobody will pressurize me, and I am not impressing anyone; everything about that day is all about my plan. Having an unlimited budget would make the day enjoyable; most times we just have to take a break and relax.
