To be honest, life right now is full of uncertainty, determination, hope, and faith. There are days I feel like I am getting it, and there are days when I sit in my quiet place and ask myself questions: Are you really doing enough in all? You don’t give up; you keep pushing. That is one thing I always pray you don’t lose.
I hope you are doing well and you’ve become more confident. I hope you have stopped living a life of "what will people say?" because people will always say it. I hope you have stopped comparing your journey with people around you; success is not all about reaching the finish line first. It is about being confident, being wiser, and being kind to yourself and people around you.
I hope you achieve most of the goals you set for yourself and dream of. I hope you have been able to achieve opportunities that once scared you. I hope you have discovered why courage is important; rather, it means that you choose to move forward. If you are still chasing some dreams, that is okay. One thing about dreams is they can never expire just because they have taken longer. Once you keep hopes alive, you will achieve every dream.
I hope you still invest in learning, and every book you read, every skill you develop, every lesson you learn, and every experience that teaches you something new has been preparing you for the life you deserve. Never stop growing and never stop thinking bigger.
Tell me you are taking proper good care of yourself. I hope you always rest when needed. Do you celebrate every milestone you were able to achieve? I hope you have realized that your worth isn’t measured by success. You deserve all the best, love, peace of mind, laughter, and every beautiful thing that your heart desires.
I hope you are protecting your heart. Keep people that love and cherish you. Keep people who genuinely celebrate your growth close to you, and delete fake people from your side. Don’t waste time, or don’t be afraid to let go of relationships that are draining you and taking your peace of mind from you. Love is short, and you should treasure every moment. Forgiveness is important, but never forget the lessons that difficult experiences have taught you.
Always remember family members and people who stood beside you during difficult times; don’t ever forget to show gratitude to them. Always cherish, treasure, and value people who make life meaningful for you. I also hope that your faith has grown stronger. I hope you still trust God. One thing I will tell you for free is God will never fail you; keep believing and hoping in him.
My dear future self, if you are reading this and things haven’t gone according to plan, do not give up. Keep pushing; you will get there someday. You have had more difficult moments, and you will survive this one. Sorrow may come in the night, but joy comes in the morning. The disappointment you are facing is temporary; your blessings will be permanent. You are stronger than all the challenges you are facing now. Never doubt yourself. Celebrate every milestone no matter how small it is. Be proud of yourself.
One year ago I believed in you completely. I keep my hopes up that you will never give up no matter the difficult moment, keep learning, and keep being the person you are created to be.
