Each of us has a preferred way of getting from one place to another. For some the preference is flying across continents in a few hours, while others enjoy travelling by car; some also prefer travelling by train. One thing about humans is our choice; our favourite mode of transport often reflects our personality and lifestyle.
For some people, their favourite mode of transport is using airlines. The majority of people prefer this mode of transport because it is very fast; within some hours you are at your destination. Currently in my country now, people prefer using this mode of transport because of the insecurity we are facing. Using airlines now seems like the safest means of transport. Although it can be stressful because of the security checks, there is nothing to compare to the excitement of taking off and getting to your destination safe.
Some people prefer travelling by train because of the comfort that comes with it. The mode of transport is very cheap, and the risk of having an accident is very low; that is why people prefer this mode of transport. Travelling by train can be fun; watching the landscape roll by from the train window can be fun and amazing. The first time I used this mode of transport, it was really wonderful because I enjoyed every bit of the journey, although it was slow, but I love the fact that trains don’t share their rails with cars; if I may say, trains hardly have accidents.
Many people prefer travelling by land, either with their private car, public transport or motorcycle. For me, this mode of transport is very convenient and flexible. You get to enjoy the journey at your own pace; you can travel whenever you want and stop along the road to buy foods and snacks. I know you will be so eager to know my favourite mode of transport. I love and enjoy transport by land. I enjoy using public buses to travel, sitting close and watching the trees and how beautiful the earth is. I have been able to meet people on public transport whom I connect with after the journey. I love the part when the conductor and the passenger are arguing over their balance or are arguing over a particular thing; I always see myself laughing out so loud.
I don’t think there is any mode of transport that will give you convenience like transportation by land. You can come out at your own convenience and board a bus while the car is moving; you can buy things from roadside sellers. Although it may not be the fastest means of transportation, I enjoy every bit of the journey. It is affordable and accessible. For me there is no right or wrong answer; it all depends on your choice. Some people love transport by air, some by land, some by sea, and some by rail. Our choices are different; it now depends on the one that works best for you.
