Hello everyone!
Today, I want to share a personal and meaningful experience I had when we visited our T’boli friends in their village.

Their life is simple. Their home is simple, the road going there is difficult, and they live far from the busy life in town. But what touched my heart most was their big and kind hearts.

They are indigenous people. They have very little compared to many of us. But when you visit their home, you feel something that money cannot buy: kindness and hospitality.

They also helped my father during his recovery. They know some traditional herbal remedies, and they kindly shared what they knew with us. I am very thankful because they did not hesitate to help our family. I will always remember their kindness.

We decided to visit them to spend time together and invite them to my niece’s birthday tomorrow.

It was our small way of saying thank you for everything they have done for my father and our family.

Going to their place was not easy. We had to walk because the road was difficult. It took about two hours from our house. Riding a motorcycle would have been easier, but we wanted to personally invite them, so we made the effort to go.

When we arrived, I was very happy to see them again. I even wore their tribal dress. It was my simple way of showing respect and appreciation for welcoming me into their community.

I also want to share a little tour of their simple home. I can feel the warmth and love in the place.

One thing I love about visiting them is that you never have to worry. If it suddenly rains, they will welcome you. You can drink coffee and eat with them. That is how kind and welcoming they are.
I felt truly happy during this visit. We did not need anything fancy. Sitting together, talking, laughing, drinking coffee, and sharing food already made the day special.

Sometimes, people who have very little teach us the most about generosity.
I am truly grateful for our T’boli friends. Thank you for helping my father and for opening your simple home and big hearts to us.
