Do you believe that each of us has a soulmate?
I saw this first prompt topic and I realized that most times, we as humans tend to think out of the box, have questions in our minds, and tend to want to understand the cycle of life. I am saying this, because three days ago, someone asked me what my take is on about "Everyone having a soulmate"
Here is what I said, and think, each of us has a soulmate, made for us from inception but several things can contribute to meeting or not meeting our soulmate which I call "Our decisions" and "Other forces or divinity".
I mean, we all believe the portion of the Bible that says, "I knew you even before you were born", so, I would obviously say everything about and concerning our lives has been planned, everything that entails a specific individual has been written and signed by our maker, but it still does not mean that we may or likely be able to achieve everything.
We are human as such, we have errors, flaws, weaknesses, and strengths, and as such, many things could hinder us from walking according to the book that was written about us. Most times, we choose to do it, other times, it is beyond our control.
When it involves our lives, fate has already been written about us but regardless, some things can stop fate from materializing or coming to pass in our lives. This could be a result of our choices in our lives or other forces or divinity that control the world even though we believe that God is the Greatest and Mighty One.
I believe that is why the bible said "Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life so that you and your descendants might live!"
Even though our fate is already predestined, even though we all have soulmates, each man to his soulmate, let also have it in mind and not forget that whoever gave us that, also gave us the right to choose what we want for our lives. So our decisions affect the already predestined life for us, same with the other forces or divinity of this world which also contribute.
There is a man for every woman, and there is a woman for every man but there are factors that contribute to the possibility of many of us not meeting or meeting our soulmates which include, our choices, characters, perspectives about life, our patterns or manner of reasoning and talking to people, and also other forces or divinities of these world is also a factor.
