Happy Sunday everybody! I hope your day has been blessed! 😇
The day began at church as usual. Our lead pastor and lead worship pastor were at a conference in Texas where they had been asked to speak. Our youth pastor Caleb gave the sermon. Caleb is on fire for God and when he preaches, he is anointed indeed. Today was no different.
Once home, we both set to doing some things around the house until the sun got to a spot where we could sit and absorb some of it. I was in the garden swing and spent a lovely time just reading and enjoying the sunshine! 🌞
Eventually, as it always does, the sun moved and the swing became chilly. I moved indoors after taking a tour around the property looking for some ‘shrooms. 🍄🟫 I was not disappointed! Enjoy!
I especially like the play of the browns in this next one. It makes the texture pop just a bit. 😎
This one too, has the thing going on with the browns and then a pop of yellow. Nice! 🤩
Then of course, there’s always some teeny—tiny ‘shrooms hiding in unexpected places!
It’s been a pleasant day.
For those of you bothered by the ‘falling back’, here’s a couple of things to consider. The morning light sets our circadian clock; it is that morning light that helps with the adjustment—go outside and soak it in. You’ll be happier!
If you suffer from the headlights of cars seriously blinding you, consider having a pair of glasses made that are tinted to a #2 yellow and add some anti-reflective coating to deal with glare. I had a pair made a couple of years ago and it’s made the difference of me almost closing my eyes while driving at night ( which doesn’t work out too well, 😏) or being able to see and not even needing the ‘night’ position for the review mirror any longer. You won’t be sorry for the small investment! 👓

BSB Hebrews 10:11-18
Day after day every priest stands to minister and to offer again and again the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when this Priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, He sat down at the right hand of God. Since that time, He waits for His enemies to be made a footstool for His feet, because by a single offering He has made perfect for all time those who are being sanctified.
The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First He says:
“This is the covenant I will make with them
after those days, declares the Lord.
I will put My laws in their hearts
and inscribe them on their minds.”
Then He adds:
“Their sins and lawless acts
I will remember no more.”
And where these have been forgiven, an offering for sin is no longer needed.
