On Thursday, I went to the Mango Bajito store looking for a metal strainer. I have several at home, but since they're plastic, they aren't suitable for pouring hot liquids, so I urgently needed a metal one.

Once at the store, I spent a good while looking at the different metal strainers they offer. I only found one large-sized strainer, which seemed to be the last one left. With my purchase ready, I decided to go up to the first floor to check out the entire Christmas product display they have on offer.

To my surprise, the entire floor was completely filled with Christmas decor. Although they usually stock containers and baking supplies, that wasn't the case this time.

I began strolling through the aisles, admiring all the beautiful things they offer. I must confess that this store always overwhelms me a bit because of how they display their products: the aisles are narrow, and you can see items stacked all the way up the walls. However, I've learned to deal with it, as it allows me to browse calmly and try to catch a good deal.

As I walked around, I noticed the different colors of the Christmas items, all organized by shade. I saw a golden Christmas, a white one, a pink one, and a blue one. I thought to myself that the traditional Christmas with its red, green, and white colors was no longer in style.

While walking down the blue aisle, I heard a woman say to the man beside her, "I don't like a blue Christmas."

That left me reflecting on the colors of my own Christmas. Since I was very little, I was used to seeing a red Christmas; however, over time and with the meaning that color took on in my life, Christmas took on other shades besides red, adding touches of gold and even white.

I agree with the girl and I don't like a blue Christmas either, but I would be open to experiencing a pink or white Christmas. I really enjoyed seeing those colors on the shelves; I feel they would make for a very sweet decoration, giving the home touches of delicate beauty.

I don't think I'll decorate my house with a Christmas theme this year, as the power outages and voltage fluctuations make me afraid of a short circuit. It's time to carry Christmas in the heart and in the flavors it brings us; with that, I am content. Blessings are never lacking.

And now, let me ask you: What color is your Christmas?
