• The minimum wage here in Venezuela is approximately 5.17 dollars per month, this barely covers 1% of the food basket, which consists of about 60 products and is barely enough to buy a liter of oil, even though the Constitution of the country states that the income should be sufficient to meet the needs of the worker and his family, tell me where is this logical?

According to the monthly report offered by Cendas-FVM, which refers that in the country 101.7 monthly minimum wages would be necessary to fill a basic food basket, it seems incredible to me how we manage to maintain a household here.
The National Institute of Statistics (INE) has not made any publications regarding the cost of the food basket since 2014, it does not take an expert to realize why they hide these figures which only reflect the level of poverty in which the country is.
• Here in Venezuela an inflation of 86.7% has accumulated in the first four months of the year 2023, according to the Central Bank (BCV) an average increase in prices is reported of;
+42.1% in January.
+19.3% in February.
+6.1% in March.
+3.8% in April.
• This indicates the highest monthly inflation recorded by the nation in the last two years.
Venezuela came out of a hyperinflation crisis in 2021 which began in 2017 , during those four years the value of the currency which is the bolivar reduced its value sharply as did confidence in it among us so we opted in incorporating the dollar unofficially in an attempt to protect our assets.
• Currently the Hive Backed Dollar ( HBD ) has been a stable way to save and generate money, its current value is 0.96$ which is equivalent to 29.15 bolivars.•

With this publication my intention is to show a little of the economic reality we are facing in the country.

Español;

• Aquí en Venezuela se ha acumulado una inflación del 86,7 % en los primeros cuatro meses del año 2023, según el Banco Central (BCV) se reporta un incremento promedio en los precios de;
