Week Adrian Lenses.jpg

Let's see what we have for this week's roundup.

Week on Hive

Hive at Web3 Berlin

While crypto is experiencing a tough week, the biggest crypto event in Europe is still going on. Hive is a sponsor and has a number of representatives speaking at the event. Discover what they talk(ed) about if you check the agenda of the event and find them (@crimsonclad, @starkerz, @arcange, @detlev, @elindos). Maybe we will have some recording from there next week...

In preparation for the event, @elindos wrote an important update for Exode, preparing the presentation of its Beta version at Web3 Berlin.

Splinterlands News

Land Surfing - a mystery (and maybe not so much) addition to Land 1.5 and the entire roadmap for the Age of the Pheonix (until the beginning of August) was presented (without details) at this week's Splinterlands town hall.

Also, more than 500m DEC+DEC-B were burned so far during the 5-year anniversary event (about 10% of the circulating supply).

Vaultec Keeps Us Updated About VSC

VSC - one of the smart contracts L2 platforms that are being worked on - has regular updates on progress for those interested, which is always a great thing.

This week there was a technical update with a tutorial on how to install a VSC node using Ansible and also a website for VSC was created.

Leofinance Breaks more Page Views Records

With a new activity-boosting event going on at the beginning of the week-end, Leofinance (Threads, in particular), leaves to dust previously tracked records for the platform. Here's some information. Of course, we should keep in mind the activity level will likely not be the same in a "normal day" as in one where there are higher incentives to be active. Unless... more people join and compensate.

3Speak and CTT Calls to Action

We have 2 calls to action this week coming from the 3Speak/CTT team.

In the first one, 3Speak rewards people who rate and review their Android and Apple apps.

In the second one, they upvote people who share CTT short videos and provide proof in the comments.

Serfdom & Sorcery + Psyber-X Roadmaps

The team behind the two games released development roadmaps for both Serfdom & Sorcery and Psyber-X. Read them if you are interested in what's coming and when.

Also, a for Serfdom & Sorcery was shared by a member of the team.

Golem Overlord Is Alive!

Contrary to some rumors I heard were spread in Discord, here comes a new update with a "peak into the future" of Golem Overlord.

Week in the Crypto World

SEC: The Elephant in the... Crypto Space

It's been far too long since we talked about the SEC. Mr, Gensler, felt ignored by any chance? That's ok, when you are craving for attention, you will get it! I like this clip, by the way. They do fit the description, don't they? :) Wouldn't pay half an ETH for the NFT, but I'm not a whale. Thanks, Marky, for sharing it!

Now to the serious stuff, sort of. The SEC sued both Coinbase and Binance US + CZ within a week. Are they in a hurry for some reason? They had a plane to catch? Or a price manipulation to make happen? Couldn't be the latter because... their role is to protect small investors. I'd better stop here, lol...

Looks like the increasingly wild rides of the Gensler-run SEC may have triggered some action in the US House of Representatives. A hearing entitled "The Future of Digital Assets: Providing Clarity for the Digital Asset Ecosystem" is scheduled for June 13. I wouldn't expect any clarity on that day, though. :)

I'd rather stop here with the news from the crypto world. The SEC didn't attack only Coinbase and Binance this week, but indirectly, practically a good portion of the crypto sphere. This is pure madness!
