Hello again! Here for another music post
As a musician I think i have a habit of paying attention to things that other people might overlook. Sometimes, when I play a video game, I find myself listening more carefully to the background music than watching what is happening on the screen.

I pay attention to the instruments, the rhythm, the atmosphere, and the way a melody can change how I feel about a particular moment. That is why I think Holozing has an interesting opportunity to create something special through its sound.

For me, good music is not necessarily about having the most complicated arrangements or the biggest orchestra.
Sometimes, a simple melody played with the right instrument can communicate more emotion than a hundred different sounds competing for attention.

If I were involved in imagining Holozing's soundtrack, I would start by asking a simple question: what should players feel when they enter this world?
I would love to hear a soundtrack that gives each place its own personality. Personally, I enjoy music that leaves room for the imagination.
A few acoustic guitar notes, a soft piano, or some subtle ambient textures could make an unexplored location feel mysterious without forcing a particular emotion onto the player.

Then, when something unexpected happens, the music could gradually introduce new rhythms and harmonies.
One thing I have learned from music is that silence can be just as important as sound.
Games do not need to fill every second with a melody. Imagine exploring a quiet area in Holozing where the music becomes almost imperceptible.

leaving only environmental sounds in the background. That sudden sense of space could make the discovery of a creature or a hidden location feel much more meaningful.
I would also enjoy hearing battle themes that have their own musical character. As a musician, I naturally think about tempo and energy.
A quick, aggressive rhythm could make an encounter feel intense, while a slower arrangement with powerful percussion could give a difficult opponent a more imposing presence.

These differences would help battles develop their own atmosphere instead of feeling musically identical.
Another personal wish would be to hear melodies that stay in my head after I stop playing. We all have songs connected to particular memories, and video game music can create that same connection.
Years later, hearing a familiar theme can bring back the feeling of exploring a place or overcoming a difficult challenge.

Ultimately, I believe Holozing's music should have its own identity rather than simply imitate the soundtracks of other creature-collecting games.
From my (limited) perspective as a musician, the real achievement would be creating music that feels inseparable from the world itself.
Thanks for passing by!!
