First of ALL, I want to make it very clear that the reasons I have for exiting the #coti project is entirely my decision and are based on the articles and different X posts that I have been reading, along with the major changes that have happened within the COTI Foundation. What we have seen so far is that the CEO #shahaf Bar-Geffen stepping down, alogn with that we saw the existing management stepping down, and the ZK Foundation, led by Robbie Vander Ghinste, coming into the picture and taking over the direction of COTI.
The immdeiate question that comes to my mind why ALL of a sudden these changes when we started to see #coti making some noise around their technology which is PoD [Privacy on Demand] and their recent news with Avalanche blockchain - COTI Privacy-on-Demand is live on Avalanche . So yeah Why ALL this DRAMA when #coti PoD has started to shine. I smell something fishy going on and hence finally took the call to exit my #coti stake...
My 5 Main Reasons for Exiting My COTI Stake - No DRAMA...
As from above image, I have started to move my COTi tokens to Binance where I plan to swap it for CAKE and then move CAKE to Pancakeswap where finally I swap CAKE for #wbtc and get closer to my GOAL of having 0.1 BTC in my BNB wallet. Coming to my TOP 5 reasons for exiting #coti, they are as follows. I am going to keep them as simple as possible without going into too much detail around each of them, as I see no reason to give an explanation or justification whatsoever. These are MY reasons and MY decision to exit my #coti stake.
- Reason 1 - COTi team ALL of a sudden stopped the COTi treasury and the rewards around it... First doubt here and they said move your coins to KuCoin exchange to earn staking rewards as its difficult to maintain the staking platform.. How difficult it can be for a team who is building a protocol which bring in PoD [Privacy on Demand] to the blockchains...
- Reason 2 - When everything is working FINE, why make such a BIG change? I mean everything is working FINE — #coti is getting attention, the recent COTI Privacy-on-Demand is LIVE on Avalanche, and other chains like Ethereum are also in the pipeline then who would want to make such a BIG change across the entire company? Just think about it? Do you guys smell something FISHY here or NOT?
- Reason 3 - Treasury & Wallet Transparency, right now there is are too many unanswered questions around major wallets, token movements, market maker arrangements and who ultimately controls the funds. Majority of the COTi tokens are being dumped on the exchanges and hence the price of COTi is just falling and falling.. Will it come to ZERO? Who knows.. I want to exit and take whatever I can and invest in BITCOIN..
- Reason 4 - NO transperancy in terms of how much was paid to the Foundation, in what different asset, from which address, on which date. Metamask agreement terms there is nothing or no information around this. If ALL is legit then why hide the details? ITs that SIMPLE make the information avaialble to the community..Why HIDE iT?
- Reason 5 - And finally I dont want to wait any further and continue to think that ALL is good when I can clearly see that something is wrong here and I need to ACT now before its too LATe and hence exiting my #coti stkae for now...
And if #coti rebounds from here, which I genuinely wish and pray that it does, so that people who are holding their #coti do not lose their hard earned money, I will be more than happy to see that happen. I am booking my losses and moving ON..with other crypto projects invstment. Well this should be it for todays post on - "My 5 Main Reasons for Exiting My COTI Stake - No DRAMA - Lets Explore...
