Currently, Vechain token #vet is ranked 91 as per congecko and is trading around $0.009+ cents with a marketcap of $779+ Million and a total supply of 86+ Billion tokens that's' too much of tokens in supply isn't it? If you HODL #vet token in your VTHOR wallet then you are sure to earn #vthor tokens as well. The Vechain platform consists of two separate tokens:
- VeChain Token (VET) and
- VeChainThor Energy (VTHO) is the gas token
I have a decent investment in the Vechain project where current I have two NFTs [Non Fungible Tokens] which are worth 60K VET tokens and both the NFTs are staked that earns #vthor tokens as reward.
- Dawn 10,000 [VET to Stake] 1.0× [Reward Multiplier] Entry-level; capped at ~500,000 NFTs
- Lightning 50,000 [VET to Stake] 1.15× [Reward Multiplier] Mid-tier; capped at 100,000 NFTs
The process is simple which is stake VET to get the NFTs on the Stargate Application, stake NFTs there to receive VTHO rewards..
VET → StarGate → Staking NFT → Validator → VTHO Rewards
So now the next question would be, that did I sell ALL the tokens here? The short answer NO. I did keep the NFTs and currently earning the #vthor rewards but all the liquid VET and VTHOR tokens that I had were sold to swap for #wbtc... Yes this is the path forward to accomplish my GOAL of having 0.1 BTC in my BNB chain wallet.
Trade2 - Sold #vet & #vthor - To BUY BTC - Target 0.1 BTC
As seen from above image, I had 5K+ VET and 24K VTHO tokens as liquid which I moved over to Binance exchange to swap it for CAKE. The swap of both these tokens got me close to 24 CAKE tokens which I further moved over to the BNB chain on Pancakeswap where I did swap CAKE for WBTC... And here is the swap trade history snapshot image...
This trade was worth $64+ and it got me around 0.000771 WBTC. Yes, it is a fraction of BTC, but then considering the price of BITCOIN, which is sitting around $84K+, it is still a good amount of BTC added to my wallet. And this is exactly how I plan to slowly build my 0.1 BTC goal, one trade at a time. Lets now track down the BTC trades for future refrences...
