Hello Hive community!

In this post, I will share with you a beautiful nature outing in the city of Ifrane in northern Morocco, where I visited the beautiful Ain-Vittel park!

The morning was mild and bright when I set off on the road to Ain-Vittel Park in Ifrane. I chose to take Zemmour Street, an avenue that offers superb panoramic views. The street is wide, lined with tall trees, and it invites walking with its clean sidewalks and peaceful atmosphere. Walking, one feels that very particular atmosphere of Ifrane, between nature and careful urban planning, where every corner seems to breathe tranquilly.

On the way, a surprise caught my attention: a magnificent mosque whose construction was not yet finished. Its immaculate white walls and slender minaret seemed to rise proudly towards the blue sky. Even unfinished, it already exuded a certain presence, and I couldn't resist the urge to stop for a moment to admire the architectural details, between tradition and modernity.

Continuing on my path, I left the urban atmosphere to plunge into a small, magical-looking forest. The trees formed a canopy above the path, and the ground was carpeted with dry leaves. There was a pleasant coolness, punctuated by the discreet song of the birds. This change of scenery enchanted me: you go from the city to nature in just a few steps. At one point, I stopped, hesitating on which direction to take to reach the park. That's when I met a small group of children, full of kindness, who told me that I could cross the forest to get directly to Ain-Vittel. Their warm smiles made me feel like I had already arrived at my destination.

Walking through this generous nature, I spotted a horse tied in the shade of a tree, giving the scene a beautiful and traditional air. I came across remarkable trees, some marked by time, others resplendent with young spring leaves. Further along, moss-covered rocks blended into the scenery, adding a wild touch to the path.

This journey to Ain-Vittel Park was already a little adventure in itself, filled with discoveries and encounters. This path alone was worth the detour.

After a lovely walk through Zemmour Street and the small forest I had already mentioned to you, I found myself in front of the entrance to Ain-Vittel Park. Just by passing through the gate topped with that sign with green letters, I felt like I was entering another world: a place where calm and nature reign supreme.

The park enveloped me in an atmosphere of freshness and tranquilly. Everywhere the eye rests, there is green: majestic trees, leafy canopies gently filtering the sun's rays, lush grass underfoot, and in the distance, the soft murmur of water. Here, one quickly forgets that they are only a few minutes from the city centre of Ifrane.

What struck me was the diversity of the atmospheres. You effortlessly transition from a meditative corner, where the birds' songs accompany your steps, to more lively areas where small wooden kiosks offer crafts, jewellery, and souvenirs. The vendors, warm-hearted, do not hesitate to strike up a conversation or simply offer a smile.

The park's water sources are also a marvel. The stone fountains let forth clear and fresh water, almost magical, which invites pause and contemplation. Here and there, small bridges span the streams, benches await strollers, and tables invite you to sit down and enjoy a delicious Moroccan tagine or simply a moment with friends or family.

What I love about Ain-Vittel is this mix of atmospheres: families having picnics, children running around, couples holding hands, and solitary travellers who, like me, come to seek a bit of peace. Everyone finds their place here.

At the end of my visit, I sat on a bench, my heart light. I took off my espadrilles to let my feet rest a bit, I was thinking about the walk, the forest I crossed, the faces I encountered, the life that gently pulses in this park. Ain-Vittel is not just a simple green space, it is a parenthesis, a little beautiful escape, a journey into the heart of nature and human encounters.
