Hello everyone, how are you doing today? I want to share my brawl battle for this week. Before I share my brawl battle, I will like to discuss the recent experience in the ranked battles.
I noticed the rewards of the recent ranked battles are far below last season.
In the last season, there was a particular stage where I started to earn more than 50 Glint and above 0.125 SPS. When I checked my staking SPS, I realized that I have rented 3,333 SPS out. I withdrew the SPS immediately from rent. It is not my plan to rent out because I needed more SPS staking and that was the reason I went to market to get rented SPS.
Unfortunately, I ended up renting a little staked SPS I had. I just discovered this morning that I should request for SPS, not delegation. I requested a total of 10,000 SPS for seven days. 210 Dark Crystal Energy (DEC) was deducted from my account.
When I started playing the game after I withdrew my SPS from delegation, my glint and SPS rewards increased to 45 and 0.122.

Out of 5 brawl battles, I lose 1 and won 4 with a total points of 21. I lost the first battle I played yesterday; after I lost the first battle, I won the rest of the battle.
Only 4 members of my Guild engaged in this this brawl, the rest of the players were not around for some reason. I think that was the reason we took 6th position with 60 points.
The total of 4 crowns was won, and each fully participating member was awarded 215 merits and 7.302 staked SPS.
I decided to talk about one of the brawl battles, click the link below to watch the brawl battle πππ

Rule of the battle

Earthquake
Non-flying monsters take two melee damage at the end of each round.
Only a monster with flying ability was available in this battle and the monster was Gargoya Devil.
Therefore, I used Gargoya Devil because earthquake couldn't damage it.
The rest of my monsters were damaged by Earthquake except Gargoya Devil.

Going the Distance
Only monsters with ranged attack maybe use in battles.
According to this rule, only ranged monsters are allowed to be used in this battle; and that was the reason magic and melee monsters were not available for selection.
Summoner

Eternan Brune
My intention of using Eternan Brune changed when there was no bloodlust monster for the battle. I wanted to use a bloodlust monster since I was 50 mana; unfortunately, none of the bloodlust monster was available.
Without availability of bloodlust! Monster, I realized that Eternan Brune was very important. I knew -2 armor deducted from opponent monsters was was very important. If not because of this ability, I wouldn't have won the battle.
Three of our of 5 monsters that my opponent used had armor but the presence of Eternan Brune removed 2 armor which made those monsters vulnerable to attack.
Monsters

Venari Markstrat
The only thing I needed from Venari Markstrat was the Martyr ability. I used this monster to increase the stats of adjacent monster which was Drybone Raider. By the time Venari was eliminated, the stats of Drybone Raider increased.
The health increased to 8, armor to 4, melee to 3, ranged to 2 and speed to 3.
We all know that Venari Markstrat cannot attack in first position in this battle. Hence the Martyr ability was only needed.

Drybone Raider
I placed Drybone Raider on the second position so that it would stay longer in the battle. I knew that if I placed this monster in first position, it would be destroyed very fast. I have tested it on several battles and that was the reason I don't like to place Drybone Raider in first position.
This strategy made Drybone Raider to reach second round in this battle, and eliminated a monster before it was destroyed.

Firecaller
The same reason I used Venari Markstrat was the same reason I used Firecaller. I needed to increase the stats of Gargoya Devil since it was only monster with flying ability. My intention was to increase the monster so that it would last longer.
Firecaller was eliminated at round 2 and the stats of Gargoya Devil increased.

Gargoya Devil
Looking at This battle, I knew that the first-four monsters would lead the lineup. Venari Markstrat, Drybone Raider, Firecaller and Gargoya Devil led the attack.
With firecaller behind Gargoya Devil, when firecaller was eliminated, Gargoya Devil became stronger.
Gargoya Devil led the lineup to the end.

Ettin Spearman
If you ask me the reason I used Ettin Spearman, I will tell you that the reason are:
Health: it took round 4 for Ettin Spearman to be eliminated by earthquake in this battle. If I mistakenly selected any monster with lower health, it wouldn't have reached round 4.
Range ability: 3 ranged ability was incredible; it contributed to elimination of opponent's monsters in this battle.

Lava Launcher
The reason I placed Lava Launcher behind was to attack from the beginning to the end. I knew if I placed Lava Launcher at the first position, it won't have opportunity to attack from the first round to the end.
The close range would also be helpful if it leads. Lava Launcherβs armor was helpful, it wouldn't allow the earthquake to destroy the health directly.
π₯π₯π₯Round Oneπ₯π₯π₯

At the beginning of the battle, it was Ash Mirage that started the attack; it attacked Venari Markstrat and eliminated it. That was how Drybone Raider led the attack, and because it's speed increased, it became second monster to attack. It attacked opponent's Gargoya Devil once, and missed the second attack.
Opponent's Gargoya Devil was finally eliminated by my Gargoya Devil. That was how Lava Launcher led the attack from opponent side.
Before the end of round one, Lava Launcher's armor was damaged to 1 by Ettin Spearman and Firecaller.
My Drybone Raider was damaged to 5 health.
π₯π₯π₯Round Two π₯π₯π₯

Monsters with Non-flying ability toke two melee damage at the beginning of round 2.
The health of Drybone Raider was damaged to 3; Ash Mirage damaged the Health of Drybone Raider to 1. Drybone Raider attacked twice and eliminated Lava Launcher. Opponent's Drybone Raider eliminated my Drybone Raider and Firecaller led the attack.
π₯π₯Round Threeπ₯π₯π₯

Three monsters were left in both sides: as usual, Ash Mirage attacked first, and damaged the armor of Gargoya Devil.
Opponent's Drybone Raider did not have chance to attack; it was attacked and eliminated by Lava Launcher. At the same time, Ash Mirage was eliminated in the third round while Tinderlock missed the attack.
Tinderlock was the only monster left from opponent lineup. Hence, last stand ability was activated and the range increased to 5 while the health increased to 10.
π₯π₯π₯Round Fourπ₯π₯π₯

Monsters with Non-flying ability took two melee damage at the beginning.
Lava Launcher was the first monster that attacked since Ash Mirage was eliminated; Gargoya Devil was the second monster to attack; Tinderlock was the third monster but it missed the attack; and the last monster that attacked was Ettin Spearman, he attacked and eliminated Tinderlock.
That was the end of the battle.
I was left with three monsters at the end of the battle- Gargoya Devil, Ettin Spearman and Lava Launcher.
