We have seen many splinterlands cards over a period of time. The first set of cards I saw in this awesome splinterlands was Alpha packs.
Alpha and Beta packs
Alpha Pack
The pack contains some important monsters that make up splinterlands. Alpha pack was the first set of cards in splinterlands when it was started in 2018. Alpha packs were not much in the market, they were limited.
I remember some years back when SPS was released, the price of Alpha cars was increased.
Beta Pack
After the Alpha cards were sold in splinterlands, Beta packs were released. The circulation numbers of a Beta pack was higher than Alpha. I realized the price of Alpha is higher than Beta in the market. I understand that a player needs 2 BCX of alpha cards to reach level 2 while 3 is required to reach level 2 in Beta.
Alpha card
Alpha version of GF elemental Phoenix level 2 is $100, 000, while the beta version is $725.
Therefore, The Alpha set is more expensive than the Beta set.
Beta Pack
Essence Orb
Essence Orb was released some time ago. two hundred thousand (200,000) essence packs were released with 25 different cards. Some of the cards are barking Spider, silvershield assassin, Armorsmith, Queen nectar and more.
When I checked the price of essence Orb today, it was $19; though, I forgot the amount it was sold when the pack was released.
Untamed pack
A pack of untamed consists of 5 cards! If I could remember, a pack was sold for $2. 200,000 was sold 48 hours after it was released. that was incredible sales. That was when players began to predict that the price of those cards would be very high in market.
I was part of player that purchased untamed packs but I had money to buy more then.
recently when I checked the price of Untamed pack in splinterlands, the price was $7. I believe as times go on, the price will appreciate more.
AZMARÉ Dice
20 cards was featured in splinterlands, and 6 summoners. One of the azmaré dice I like most is Mylor Crowling. I missed the chance of getting this summoner at that time because I did not buy Azmaré dice pack in those days.
Oaken Behemoth was one of the best monsters I love, The magic and melee attack of the monster was incredible. Oaken Behemoth's reach, void armor and knock out abilities drives me crazy.
Azmaré dice is currently sold at splinterlands market at $9.45.
Chaos legion
When I heard about chaos legion presale, I knew I would be among the players that would purchase the packs. the goal of our team was to purchase more than 1,000 packs chaos legion presale. I managed to buy 100 presale chaos legion which 4000 Dec and a voucher per each pack. after 500,000 presale was off, 15 million packs were released after presale. The campaign run for about a year before the remaining packs were burned.
Chaos legion pack have experienced set back in price since the remaining packs were burned. Right now, the price of chaos legion is $0.74. This pack is the most disappointed pack in splinterlands because we didn't expect the price to be so low in the market.
I remember after untamed pack was sold out in the splinterlands, the price skyrocketed. Hence, many players were expecting the price to go up, because they are into business; unfortunately, the price went down.
I also believe that players and investors that purchased Chaos legion would not be happy.
Losing $3.28 per pack is just too much, it doesn't speak well.
Riftwatchwers
Riftwatchwers came on board after chaos legion pack. Rift gems was released on September 13th, 2022. A rift gems is $5 + a voucher. The current price of a rift gems is $2.359! it is even better than chaos legion packs.
500,000 packs were released for presale while 3,000,000 packs were released after presale.
Nightmare
Rebellion
One rebellion pack is 4,000 Dec + 5 vouchers. What a good opportunity for new players.
500,000 was released during presale and 9.5 million rebellion cards were released for general sale which is still running.

This pack cannot be sold or transferred; it can only be converted/burn to glint. Merit is the only currency one can use to purchase Gladius packs; 2000 merit per pack.
Gladius cards are powerful cards in splinterlands with bloodlust ability. There are battles one needs a Gladius card to win.
That's the reason a player must participate in Brawl to acquire more of merits.
