Hoy tengo el placer de invitarlos a conocer la instalación turística de la cadena Islazul, Hotel Hanabanilla, ubicado en el entorno natural del Escambray en Cienfuegos, Cuba. Este lugar alberga bonitas historias, vistas panorámicas, el enorme lago intramontano, espectaculares servicios y ideal para descanso en contacto con la naturaleza.

This trip was a 3-night, 4-day excursion through Hanabanilla. They are offers available to the public in my city to discover the beautiful places on the Island.
The journey lasted about 4 hours to reach the hotel, with a stop on the national highway and in La Candonga, Villa Clara. It was a wonderful vacation to release city stress, surrounded by high mountains, lush vegetation, and a lake where the most diverse species of birds endemic to Cuban fauna live.
Este viaje fue una excursión de 3 noches y 4 días por Hanabanilla. Son ofertas al público que se hacen en mi ciudad para conocer los hermosos lugares de la Isla.
La travesía duró cerca de 4 horas para llegar al hotel, con una parada en la autopista nacional y en La Candonga, Villa Clara. Fueron unas vacaciones estupendas para liberar el estrés citadino, rodeado de altas montañas, una exuberante vegetación y un lago donde habitan las más disímiles especies de aves endémicas de la fauna cubana.
Right now, according to the guide, the lake is at 45% capacity, but you can still enjoy boat rides, swimming in crystal-clear rivers, waterfalls, and trout fishing areas.
Ahora mismo según el guía, el lago está a un 45% de llenado, pero aún se pueden disfrutar sus paseos en botes, baños en ríos cristalinos, cascadas y zonas de pesca de trucha.
Upon arriving at the facility, the first photos with these spectacular views were a must. The accommodation in our room was quite comfortable, with a terrace offering beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Its exact location is in the center of Villa Clara, at Salto de Hanabanilla, Manicaragua.
Among the basic services, what affected us somewhat were the nighttime power outages and the lack of electricity while sleeping; however, otherwise, the requirements for me were perfect, considering the situation in Cuba.
Al llegar a la instalación, no podían faltar las primeras fotos con estas vistas espectaculares. El alojamiento de nuestra habitación fue bastante cómodo, con terraza de bonitos amaneceres y atardeceres. Su ubicación exacta es en el centro de Villa Clara, en el Salto de Hanabanilla, Manicaragua.
Entre los servicios básicos, lo que nos afectaba un poco eran los apagones en horarios nocturnos y la falta de electricidad al dormir; sin embargo, por lo demás, los requisitos para mí estaban perfectos, considerando la situación que se vive en Cuba.
The hotel is not all-inclusive: you are only entitled to breakfast. The ornamental decoration is quite curious, with Platycerium and Bromeliad plants in a good state of care.
The building is old and well-preserved, and has 4 floors. All rooms have their own bathroom with hot and cold water shower, two beds, television, air conditioning, and a balcony surrounded by nature.
El hotel no es todo incluido: solamente se tiene derecho al desayuno. La decoración ornamental es bastante curiosa, con plantas Platicerium y Bromelias en un buen estado de cuidado.
La edificación es antigua y conservada, y cuenta con 4 pisos. Todas las habitaciones disponen de su baño con ducha de agua fría y caliente, dos camas, televisor, aire acondicionado y balcón rodeado de naturaleza.
It is a 3-star category. At reception, the check-in was extremely fast. Inside, it has a spacious lobby, furniture, comfortable equipment, and decorations full of memories. It offers good service and customer attention from all the staff.
The place is ideal for nature and hiking lovers, as well as for a relaxing vacation.
Es categoría 3 estrellas. En recepción, el check-in fue extremadamente rápido. En su interior cuenta con un amplio lobby, muebles, equipos confortables y adornos llenos de recuerdos. Presenta un buen servicio y atención al cliente por parte de todo el personal.
El sitio es ideal para los amantes de la naturaleza y el senderismo, así como para unas vacaciones de relax.
When you go up the stairs you find a map: Legend of Lake Hanabanilla. Although it is not clearly identified in the image, the roads, routes, highways, rivers, trails, and facilities near the reservoir are located.
On the right is the Jibacoa restaurant. Even though there was no buffet at lunch and it was à la carte, it was a delight to taste international food in a natural setting. It opens its doors every day to offer the best service and a varied Cuban-style menu. My dish was a complete plate of Chicken Steak, congrí rice, and yuca with mojo; the truth is, it was super delicious.
Al subir las escaleras encuentras un mapa: Leyenda del Lago Hanabanilla. Aunque no se identifica bien en la imagen, están localizados los caminos, rutas, carreteras, ríos, senderos e instalaciones cerca del embalse.
A la derecha se ubica el restaurante Jibacoa. A pesar de que en el almuerzo no había buffet y era a la carta, era degustar con comida internacional en un ambiente natural. Abre sus puertas todos los días para brindarle la mejor atención y un menú variado a lo cubano. Mi platillo fue un table o completa de Bistec de Pollo, arroz congrís y yuca con mojo; la verdad, súper delicioso.
Hotel Hanabanilla is integrated into the water reservoir that houses the largest hydroelectric plant in the country. It also offers facilities to explore the surrounding natural environment and nearby towns. It is highly recommended for relaxing and enjoying the tranquility characteristic of the natural environment.
The place was quiet, with few people, and great for clearing your mind from the hustle and bustle of crowds.
El Hotel Hanabanilla se integra al embalse de agua que alberga la hidroeléctrica más grande del país. Brinda, además, facilidades para explorar el entorno natural circundante y los pueblos cercanos. Es muy recomendado para relajarse y disfrutar la tranquilidad característica del ambiente natural.
El lugar estaba tranquilo, con poco personal, y genial para despejar la mente del bullicio de personas.
Its pool offers the hotel's favorite view with the intramontane lake. It was clean, with varied music and the pool bar with various offerings of snacks, drinks, and natural juices.
I'll mention that I don't know if there was a swimming schedule; what I do know is that I was there many times until late and they never said anything to me. For me, it was very good for relaxing and swimming a bit in the afternoons.
Su piscina contiene la vista favorita del hotel con el lago intramontano. Estaba limpia, con música variada y el bar piscina con diversas ofertas de picaderas, bebidas y jugos naturales.
Les comentaré que yo no sé si había horario de baño; lo que sí sé es que estuve muchas veces hasta tarde y nunca me dijeron nada. Para mí, muy bueno para relajarme y nadar un poco las tardes.
One of its great attractions is the possibility of waking up and contemplating the wonderful landscape from its outdoor spaces.
This outdoor area has places to rest, tables and chairs where you can share with family and friends. It has cafeterias until 4 in the afternoon.

Esta zona exterior cuenta con locales para descansar, mesas y sillas donde compartir con familiares y amigos. Presenta cafeterías hasta las 4 de la tarde.
There is also a nautical access point to the lake, where you can contemplate the boats and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings, as well as daily excursions.

También hay un punto náutico de acceso al lago, donde se pueden contemplar las embarcaciones y disfrutar de la belleza del entorno, además de excursiones diarias.

There are areas near the lobby where visitors can sit, chat, or simply contemplate the landscape, as well as the space for shows and nighttime performances; but on the days we were there, there was no show due to technical problems.
But nothing prevented the visit to the hotel from being a wonderful and recommendable experience, as the phrase says: "The best life, life in Nature."
Hay áreas cerca del lobby donde los visitantes pueden sentarse, conversar o simplemente contemplar el paisaje, además del espacio de los shows y espectáculos nocturnos; pero los días que estuvimos no hubo función por problemas técnicos.
Pero nada impidió que la visita al hotel fuera una experiencia maravillosa y recomendable, como dice la frase: "La mejor vida, la vida al Natural".
To conclude, Hotel Hanabanilla is much more than accommodation: it is an invitation to discover the natural beauty of Cuba from a privileged location.
