In a world of cultivation of spirit energy, beasts, demons, half-demons, and half-gods walked on the face of the earth.

The heavens were the purest form they could ever be, ruled by greater and more powerful gods, perfect for only those who followed the rules of the heavens, though the rulers of the heavens had but one heaven rule. Never associated with the lower demons, as they saw those who were half a demon and half a god as an abomination.

But at that time, Lu Yeli, a fox with 12 tails, was born. Her spirit energy and divine sense were as pure as the heavens, showing that she was a goddess, but her appearance was that of a demon; only demons had a breast-like appearance, and Lu Yeli was a fox with 12 tails, the only fox with such an amount of tails.

Lu Yeli's birth shaken the heavens as her soul and spirit energy were the purest that had ever existed, and with that came great power, and jealousy spread like wide fire in the heavens. At that time, the god of gods went into a deep slumber for five hundred thousand years, and he had woken up from his deep sleep, but he woke up with a straight abnormality: he was blind, and half of his body was paralyzed. Only the purest of energy could awaken his body, so the search for the fox with 12 tails began. For 50 years, Lu Yeli ran and hid in fear of being caught.

Not till she found a man walking around the river of souls; it was a river that took souls and never gave them back. If you want someone's soul, you must sacrifice something equally as good as the soul you desire to possess. The man was the most gorgeous-looking being Lu Yeli had ever laid eyes on; he had bright long golden hair that reached the floor; his eyes had no pupils like a human being; his eyes were dark like an abyss pit; yet he had the most beautiful smiles.

Over two years into their friendship, Lu Yeli fell in love with the stranger with beautiful smiles and scary-looking eyes. She named him Yun Dae. He was quiet most of the time, but Lu Yeli found his company entertaining. After living alone for so long, she became comfortable around Yun Dae, so comfortable that she could show him her beast form. (fox with 12 tails).

But she was trusting the enemy.

“Yun dae, why don't we camp her for the night? This looks like an abandoned cave; I think a dragon once lived in it; the energy heat is strong.” Lu Yeli was always in a bubbly mood.

“Of course, as you wish.” Yun Dae answered.

Yun Dae was smart enough not to reveal his true identity. To little Lu Yeli, he was an introvert with social awkwardness. But in reality, her friend was the god of gods; he was waiting for the perfect moment to steal from her and leave.

“I will set the fire, so we can sleep warm today. Though we lack food and water, we will always survive because we're together.” Lu Yeli gave Yun Dae a small, sincere smile, making the god's heart rapidly pound from both fear and a little bit of happiness.

Lu Yeli went about with the fire, lighting it up, and the little flame became enough to burn the dried wood. She sat down to warm her hand before Yun Dae opened a small bag with water inside.

And Lu Yeli, trusting Yun Dae, took whatever was in the bottle and drank it. When Lu Yeli started feeling dizzy, she thought it was because she had not eaten for a few days, but afterwards she couldn't contain herself and fainted.

In those few minutes, Yun Dae had stolen six of her tails. He felt guilt, but he knew he had to return to the heavens with them. Leaving after he had dropped a message for the little girl, he felt even worse knowing that Lu Yeli had developed so many feelings for him.

After days of sleeping in the same spot, Lu Yeli finally woke up to an empty cave, and then the most powerful pain hit her so bad she almost fainted again. She knew something was wrong, so when she tried using her divine sense and pure energy, nothing had happened. That's when she realized her tails were missing. She was still in shock but managed to call out to Yun Dae, but her cries echoed back to her as Yun Dae wasn't there anymore, and that's when she realized that he must have taken her tails.

But before she could allow the tears to run down her eyes, she saw the message. Their own way of communicating was through magic. She always thought Yun Dae had no magic because he never used it in front of her, since she also knew he was blind. All this information she found out by herself because Yun Dae had never revealed anything about himself.

She held the little white gem, and the voice of Yun Dae began to communicate with her. In his words, he said,

‘Hello little fox, before you get up, I must have left with six of your tails. I lied to you and betrayed you out of my own greed. I couldn't tell you who I was because you wouldn't have helped me, so I hid my identity to get your trust and favor. I am really disgusted by how I took advantage of you, but it was for the greater good. I'm sorry for stealing your tail and for also stealing your first kiss while you lay there unmoved. But now that I know in the midst of my dilemma to leave to the heavens that I had grown to be attached to you, I hope you forgive me someday. I needed your pure energy to get my health back for the heavens was in chaos because of my inability to rule, and chaos in the heavens means there will be chaos everywhere. That's why life on this realm is lost daily, dragons are almost extinct from the first of the universe, spirit energy is drained, spirits are being killed, and demons are killing each other just to survive. The more I watched this little creature suffer because of me, I felt a bigger burden on my shoulders, so I had to return back to fix things. In the next 500 years, if I don't return, then my plan of making a better place for you to live has failed, but if I succeed, then let's meet at the very first place where our story began. See you soon, my little fox.’

The little fox heard the message over and over and over again; she had mixed feelings—one of betrayal but also relief that he could leave a message to explain himself.

Now the question was: would she wait for him after he had stolen from her, stealing not just her power source but also something special, which she wanted to share with him in the first place but was stolen from her? That kiss.

And even more importantly, will he come to her again?.
