I loved this miniseries; in fact, I consider it one of the best of the year. I thoroughly enjoyed every episode, especially watching the gradual unfolding of events that led to that death. As you rightly say, it tackles many themes that resonate with adult audiences.

I learned that the creator based the story on a real event, but almost everything in the miniseries is fictionalized. The award the miniseries won was well-deserved.

Right now, I’m watching a miniseries that has me hooked: a new adaptation of East of Eden. I highly recommend it. I’ll write a post about it once I finish watching it.
