A few years ago I was in Lasko, a small town in Slovenia, and this month I chose this destination again for a small vacation with my family. We had days off for Easter and used them to visit beautiful Slovenia.
Lasko is a thermal spa that I like to return to because of the thermal pools, I enjoy bathing in warm water, but also because of the beautiful nature and good vibes.
It is located on the Savinja River and is surrounded by greenery in a wooded area.
When we arrived, the weather was sunny and warm, so we immediately went for a walk to a well-known beer house called Savinja to have some Laลกko beer, which the place is famous for, as itโs brewed there.
A glass of Lasko beer was very pleasant because of the heat and the beautiful setting next to the river Savinja.
Savinja beer house is a great first stop where you can relax a bit after your trip. It's located right in the town center, along the riverbank.
Along with beer, we ate delicious burgers that are a must try here!
After our refreshment at the beer house, we walked through the town.
I love when it's spring and when the flowers bloom.
Every view is perfect for the most beautiful photos.
We spent 3 days here, and the next two days was mostly cloudy and rainy, but that didn't stop us from walking along the long well-maintained paths through the wooded area and beautiful parks.
In the following posts, I will share with you more beautiful spots that I visited in Lasko and I will try to convey my impressions and reasons why I came back here again.
