VERSIÓN EN ESPAÑOL
Feliz año nuevo a todos mis queridos Hivers! Inundado todavía nuestro ser de las actividades de las fechas decembrinas quiero en este mi primer post del año 2023 contarles sobre un grandioso evento pro fondo organizado por mi comunidad parroquial, donde se dieron cita el 15 de diciembre alrededor de 1000 personas en un club de la ciudad, Grand Versalles. El mismo siguió las huellas de uno que realizamos solo para parejas a mediados de mayo, la diferencia es que este fue abierto a más personas e indiferentemente fuera su condición. Más allá de relatarles los detalles de las actividades, quiero contarles aquí los sentimientos que de manera especial pudimos presenciar.
Alegria
Desde el principio hasta el final fue esto lo que quisimos asegurar, ya que la mayoría de las personas asistentes tomaron el evento como su actividad de compartir navideño, lo cual significó para nosotros una gran responsabilidad de poder ofrecer el mejor ambiente festivo posible. Esto lo pudimos realizar porque procuramos estar atentos a cada detalle: animación, grupos de cantantes, hall fotográfico, centros de mesa y algo muy importante para las fiestas: las bebidas y comidas.
Entre las anécdotas que me resulta interesante compartirles está la de las algunos grupos de familia y amigos que desde un principio estuvieron muy emocionadas de participar porque era también una oportunidad de salir de la rutina y darse ese regalo de disfrutar y compartir, ingredientes esenciales para experimentar la alegría de la vida.
Servicio
En este tipo de evento, pero de manera especial en este que fue tan multitudinario, hay que aprender a detenerse en las personas que están detrás del telón haciendo posible que todo fluya. Yo les decía como motivación que esto era como la batalla de David y Goliat, pero que confiáramos porque el desenlace de esa historia es siempre el mismo: lo que parece pequeño e insuficiente se termina imponiendo a lo más grande, siempre y cuando hay disposición de las personas.
A pesar de tratarse de un evento de la Iglesia esta vez no guardamos espacio para una predicación, pero es que mirando en restropectiva no fue necesario, ya que ¿qué mayor discurso motivador que los asistentes vieran por ejemplo a un puñado de jóvenes sirviendo sus mesas como mesoneros? El testimonio será algo que siempre se impondrá sobre las palabras.
Fraternidad
Finalmente, también quisiera resaltar que en el evento se dieron cita diversas comunidades y personas, de la comunidad de hiversbqto incluso fueron dos grandes amigos, @zullyscott y @filoriologo. Además también estuvieron personal de mantenimiento, de seguridad y cuerpo docente de algunos colegios, negocios que fueron con sus trabajadores y por supuesto grupos eclesiales de diversas parroquias de Barquisimeto.
De igual manera, es de resaltar aquí el apoyo que de 25 HBD @enrique89 me hizo llegar como aporte para que #hive se hiciera presente como patrocinante del evento, lo cual pone de relieve un tema que me encanta por las repercusiones positivas tiene, y es sobre la dimensión social de la blockchain. A pesar de haber asistido personas de distintos lugares, lo que impero fue la fraternidad, el reencuentro de familias que tenían tiempo sin compartir y de amistades que por el trajín del día a día no habían podido apartar un espacio para estrechar lazos a través de este tipo de actividades, que sin lugar a dudas cuando se cuida un buen ambiente implica un aporte positivo para que esto suceda.

Restaurant My New Bethlehem
Happy New Year to all my dear Hivers! Still flooded with the activities of the Christmas season, I want to tell you in this my first post of the year 2023 about a great pro-fund event organized by my parish community, where about 1000 people gathered on December 15 at a club in the city, Grand Versailles. It followed in the footsteps of one we held for couples only in mid-May, the difference being that this one was open to more people regardless of their status. Beyond telling you the details of the activities, I want to tell you here the feelings that we were able to witness in a special way.
Joy
From the beginning to the end this was what we wanted to ensure, since most of the people attending the event took the event as their Christmas sharing activity, which meant for us a great responsibility to offer the best possible festive atmosphere. We were able to do this because we tried to be attentive to every detail: entertainment, singing groups, photographic hall, table centerpieces and something very important for the holidays: drinks and food.
Among the anecdotes that I find interesting to share with you is that of some groups of family and friends who from the beginning were very excited to participate because it was also an opportunity to get out of the routine and give themselves the gift of enjoying and sharing, essential ingredients to experience the joy of life.
Service
In this type of event, but especially in this one that was so multitudinous, you have to learn to stop at the people behind the curtain making it all flow. I used to tell them as a motivation that this was like the battle of David and Goliath, but that we should trust because the outcome of this story is always the same: what seems small and insufficient ends up prevailing over what is bigger, as long as people are willing.
In spite of being a Church event, this time we did not save room for preaching, but looking at it in perspective it was not necessary, since what better motivating speech than for the attendees to see, for example, a handful of young people serving their tables as waiters? Testimony will always be something that will prevail over words.
Fraternity
Finally, I would also like to highlight that the event was attended by various communities and people, including two great friends from the hiversbqto community, @zullyscott and @filoriologo. In addition there were also maintenance personnel, security and teaching staff of some schools, businesses that were with their workers and of course church groups from various parishes of Barquisimeto.
Likewise, it is worth mentioning here the support of 25 HBD @enrique89 who made me get as a contribution for #hive to be present as a sponsor of the event, which highlights a topic that I love for the positive repercussions it has, and it is about the social dimension of blockchain. Despite the presence of people from different places, what prevailed was the fraternity, the reunion of families who had not shared for a long time and friendships that due to the hustle and bustle of everyday life had not been able to set aside a space to strengthen ties through this type of activities, which undoubtedly when a good environment is taken care of, implies a positive contribution for this to happen.
