Today I thought I should invest to hive projects.. I usually don't power down, only to pay a few bills every now and then.. I recently powered down a small amount and did not convert it to fiat yet so I thought it would be really nice to check out some new projects on the blockchain for which there have been a lot of discussions!
Let's see what happens..
I should start by stating that whatever will be posted here is not by any chance financial investment advice - please always do your own research and never invest more then what you would be willing to lose!
For starters ...
What I will need to start .. some funds in my wallet ;)
I will use the hive-engine to buy INDEX and I will easily send LEO for my lbi buy
Hive-Engine
You sign in using your hive keys.
If you wish to deposit, you will have to click on Wallet and then to Deposit
Of course you will need to have liquid hive balance to your wallet or it will not be possible to deposit any amount :)
I deposited 50 Hive and now I will go buy at least 40 hive worth of Index :)
Buying INDEX

I am off to buy 50 INDEX tokens
Click on Buy Index, Review your order and click on BUY
Then you will need to confirm/approve via hivesigner
A short while afterwards, you get to see the INDEX tokens into your account!
About Index Project
The HE-Index is 100% backed by the tokens it represents. That means if the token represents 1000 LEO tokens, it will hold 1000 LEO tokens!
We regularly review all the top performing tokens within Hive-Engine and select the top tokens to represent the token. This is based on volume averages over the history of each token for a set time.
For every INDEX purchased, a weight is given to the individual tokens represented, INDEX then purchases the corresponding weight of each token.

How do I profit from INDEX?

Buying LBI-tokens
Now let's move over to the LBI-Tokens :)
As I read from their official announcement, the correspondence with leo is 1:1 so we just need to send an equal amount of LEO to be able to get LBI tokens
I have not powered up my LEO the last few days, to be able to buy some LBI
So of course to buy them, you will need to either have liquid LEO (if you don't you can buy leo or power down your leo)
Let's go to our leofinance.io wallet
Go to leofinance.io and click on your wallet >
To send LEO it is sooo easy, you just click on the little yellow paper plane, and simply follow the instructions ;)
And ready to ... send!
Always, always make sure you cross check the username that you use to send any tokens!
Click on 'continue' and again you will need to use hivesigner to approve the transaction
I check to see that my transaction went through (my liquid LEO has already been decreased)
About LBI-TOKENS
Please make sure to read this post where everything is explained in detail
Each LBI is issued and valued using LeoFinance's LEO tribe token
Tokens will be launched at a price of 1 LEO per LBI
LBI will aim to provide a token price growth of 20-25% per year
Target ROI is LBI token price growth after weekly dividends and admin fees are removed
LBI tokens holder will receive a weekly LEO dividend payment each Tuesday at 8 PM UTC
Dividends are funded using 50% of all LEO earning for that week (off-chain investments are not included)
Payments are based on your average LBI token holding's over the previous 7 days
