Greetings People!🙌
Over time, I've seen the various changes in the leofinance community, especially how it was finally allowed to accept any kind of article in the community without the financial/crypto-headed vibes, and I so much loved it.
But after having the freedom to publish any type of article, have I been publishing? My answer is YES and NO.
YES;
The community is one of the biggest on the blockchain, and they offer massive support to people using their frontend. So whenever I'm writing for any community prompt, I usually pass through the Leo frontend to see if I could gain support, but no, it never happened. Maybe I didn't meet the criteria, or, let me say, although they opened for public access, but they still favour articles centred on finance and Crypto.
NO;
Since I'm not a crypto/finance freak, wouldn't it be a waste of time and energy to go do research and write about something that would be considered not interesting or something that's too simple and common, hence getting snubbed? This is what I always thought, and I always end up not writing.
What am I saying, in essence?
Even when the community was open to publishing anything, I still saw it as a community for finance, and the name scares me. Lol😄
And this is the same for a whole lot of people in the blockchain.
Changing the community's name
Although adopting a new name doesn't just work easily, more integration of generality and simplicity is to be implemented by the team.
No doubt, the team has been on that for some months, and it's a good development by finally taking the bull by the horn to take off the scary, at least 'finance' on the name, for which many that are not finance freaks are excited.
I trust the team to not just relent after the name rebranding but to deal more with creating awareness for everyone at large.
My rebranding suggestion name

I thought of many names and I finally settled on FREESEAT Community, which gives the notation that there's a seat for everyone.
I know it doesn't sound techy, but it has seats that welcome all manner of people into the community.
*I didn't read the comments in the post, and I don't know if this name has been suggested already. If it has, you might want to use it then because it seems like it's ordained 😄, but if it hasn't, then still consider it.
*I had fun racking my brain.*✌️
Thanks for reading.
