Greetings!
I am someone who derives massive joy from changing the theme and wallpaper of my phone, both the lock screen and home screen, almost every two weeks. My phone has a hub for my collection, which makes it much easier for me to select a new one without the stress of downloading an external app or sourcing different photos from various sites.
But something happened. I have picked up my phone several times to change the style and wallpaper because the current one has stayed for a very long time—longer than it usually does. Yet, I couldn’t bring myself to remove the settings. Let me just say I have become so sentimental about it.
Apart from the fact that it is stunningly beautiful, I once received a compliment about the theme from a member of this Blockchain community, Nkem. Ever since then, the beauty of it has appeared even more captivating and stands out every time I think of changing it.
Am I Ready to Go for Another Theme this year?
Even before picking up my phone to start typing this, I thought about changing the theme. But hell no! The enchantment of this theme is so strong. I know I will eventually break out of this spell—maybe soon—and change it, but for now, I am still enjoying it as if I just set it yesterday.
What’s Special About the Theme?
There’s nothing particularly special about it; it is just a photograph as the background. The image is of a road winding through a mountain in a snowy country. I love snow so much! The photo’s colors are moderate—not too bright to blind the eyes or too dark to dull the mood. It perfectly suits the kind of colors my eyes find pleasing.
The lock screen also features this picture, but most times, it displays random pictures from the internet—images with sayings and facts. Moreover, the previous photos I used as wallpapers also appear randomly on the lock screen, such as the one below. Oh yes, I am a lover of nature.
I’m not a fan of changing the text fonts on my phone. I prefer the default fonts, and the fact that the themes I switch to don’t alter the fonts makes me love them even more.

This was what I did and used for an article on this Blockchain that caught Nkem’s attention. She even asked where to download this particular photo and probably use it in the same way. It is so stunning.
So, for now, I am not considering changing my phone’s theme any time soon. I know that day will come, but it will take time—unless, of course, the enchantment I have with this theme fades. Lol.
