The PolyCUB DeFi platform launched a few days ago and I have to say, it's been a wild ride. I grabbed some pCUB at around $2.20 and sold it like 2 hours later for $6. Then I used the profit to ape into the PLEO-WMATIC and POLYCUB-WETH pools to farm up some more of that sweet pCUB. The other half of the profit on my quick flip went straight into xPOLYCUB when the ration was around 1.2. Solid. Considering that the rate of pCUB per xPPOLYCUB now is 1 xPCub = 7.71 PCub. This means that for every xPOLYCUB I have staked, I can redeem any time for over 7 pCUB. That's amazing. Number only go up on xPOLYCUB. The price of pCUB hovered in the $3-5 range for a day or so then started to slip. I refreshed yesterday to see it around $1.89 and then watched it fall to 89 cents this morning. Hindsight is 20-20, just like @edicted wrote in his post, should have secured more of a bag off the high price in the first couple days.... but you live and you learn.
Right now we have a pretty incredible opportunity here. You can grab pCUB for less than $1 and stake it in xPOLYCUB for number go up forever. Even cheaper than that, you could buy CUB and stake in Kingdoms on Cub Finance and get pCUB for free every day. Looking at the tokenomics of pCUB, I estimate a fair value of around $5-10 once the dust starts to settle. Keep in mind that mainstream marketing hasn't even kicked in yet so a ton of capital could flow in. There's only ever going to be about 7 million pCUB that exist and bonding has yet to launch. The other incredible opportunity here is that some whale dumped a shit ton of CUB over night.
This slammed the price down to 25 cents. You can grab CUB for 25 cents and stake to get free pCUB every day. That's a big discount on both! I can't knock them for taking profit but it looks like they took a 40% loss on their CUB due to slippage from low liquidity. Ouch. Jus take a gander at the emission rate of pCUB and you'll get an idea of how scarce it actually is. Emissions are high right now and we have a ton of people speculating on the price, which is why we're seeing such dips.
As I said, I think when the dust settles and Khal gets these big time interviews going... We might be headed to the moon in a gold lambo. Khal said in Discord that we will be seeing a Cointelegraph article today and then followed by a Coindesk article on Friday or Saturday!
