Life is like a game where principles and values collide with reality, and often even the most famous theories become inapplicable due to the human factor.
I believe the family values that have had the greatest impact on my life are the following:

Sense of Justice: This has always brought me trouble, because I’ve tried to ensure that injustices are corrected or prevented. Life taught me the hard way that this only earns you enemies.

Honesty: We could say that honesty means always doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. This principle has made it impossible for me to practice the profession I studied at university (Accounting), because in my country, despite the low tax rate (just 10%), clients refuse to pay taxes, making it impossible to maintain honest and accurate accounting.

Sincerity: Perhaps it’s not even a value or a principle, but since one cannot be honest without being sincere, I include it because I believe it’s something that’s increasingly rare.
In my country, there’s a phrase that’s often used: “You have to have a flexible waistline,” meaning that one must be “flexible,” even when that clearly involves doing something that isn’t right.
As an anecdote, I’ll share a phrase that a judicial official once said to my father: “Principles are to be kept for [applying at] home.”
La vida es como un juego en el que los principios y valores chocan contra la realidad, y muchas veces hasta las teorías mas famosas son inaplicables por el factor humano.
Considero que de los valores familiares que más impacto han tenido en mi vida se encuentran los siguientes:

Sentido de Justicia: esto siempre me ha traído problemas, por pretender que las injusticias sean corregidas o evitadas. La vida me demostró por las malas, que esto solo te hacer ganar enemigos.

Honestidad: Podemos decir que la honestidad es hacer siempre lo correcto inclusive cuando nadie te está observando. Este principio me ha imposibilitado ejercer la carrera que estudié en la universidad (Contabilidad) ya que en mi país a pesar de la baja tasa impositiva (apenas 10%) los clientes se niegan a pagar impuestos, lo que hace imposible llevar una contabilidad honesta y real.

Sinceridad: Tal vez ni siquiera sea un valor o un principio, pero como no se puede ser honesta sin ser sincera, lo incluyo porque creo que es algo que escasea últimamente.
En mi país hay una frase que se utiliza mucho, que dice que "Hay que tener juego de cintura" queriendo expresar que se debe ser "flexible" aún cuando eso signifique hacer a todas luces algo que no es correcto.
Cómo anécdota les dejo una frase que un funcionario judicial le dijo en cierta ocasión a mi padre "Los principios hay que guardarlos para [aplicarlos en] la casa".
