The emotions I struggle the most to talk about are sadness and fear. For some reason, I've always found it easier to keep those feelings to myself instead of sharing them with other people. I don't like the idea of becoming a burden because I know everyone is dealing with their own problems. That is why I usually convince myself that I should handle everything on my own.

When I'm feeling sad, I often pretend that everything is okay. I will smile, laugh, and tell people I'm fine, even when I'm really not. It's not because I don't trust anyone, but because I don't want people to worry about me or feel like they need to fix my problems. Most of the time, I don't even expect advice. Sometimes, I just wish someone would listen without judging or trying to come up with a solution right away.
Fear is another emotion that I rarely talk about. It could be the fear of failing, making the wrong decision, or not meeting the expectations of the people I care about. Those thoughts usually stay in my head. I guess part of me worries that admitting my fears will make me seem weak or uncertain. So instead of opening up, I try to push through everything on my own, even though that isn't always the healthiest way to deal with it.
Over time, I've realized that bottling up my emotions doesn't really make them disappear. If anything, they just become heavier. The longer I keep everything inside, the more stressed and emotionally drained I feel. It took me a while to understand that talking to someone I trust can actually make a big difference. Just knowing that someone is willing to listen makes me feel less alone.
What helps me open up is being around people who don't judge me for how I feel. I appreciate those who simply listen and let me express myself without interrupting or immediately telling me what I should do. Sometimes, being heard is all I really need.
I've also found that writing down my thoughts helps a lot. Whether it's in a journal or just random notes on my phone, putting my feelings into words helps me understand them better. Once I know what is really bothering me, it's easier to talk about it with someone else.
I'm still learning to be more open about my emotions, and honestly, it isn't always easy. There are days when I still keep everything to myself out of habit. But little by little, I'm realizing that sharing my sadness and fears doesn't mean I'm placing a burden on other people. The people who truly care about me would rather know what I'm going through than see me struggle in silence. Opening up takes courage, and while it's still something I'm working on, I've learned that I don't have to face every challenge alone.
Thanks for checking on my blog and have a wonderful day
