Well, honestly, I don't really try to look good for other people. I mostly do what makes me comfortable. I don't like dressing in excess or wearing things just because they are trending. I like to dress smart, but at the to same time, I want to be comfortable in whatever I am wearing.

For me, looking good doesn't necessarily mean putting on expensive clothes, heavy makeup, or trying to look like someone else. Sometimes, simple is just enough.

Seriously, I don't even remember the last time I put on makeup. Not because I don't know how to do it, but simply because I don't like it. I have makeup items at home, but most of them have either been taken by my sister or have expired because I hardly use them. ๐Ÿ˜‚ At this point, I think my sister has benefited more from my makeup than I have.

I remember one day, one of my friends was advising me to try and put on makeup once in a while because, according to her, "men like it." She even jokingly asked me if I wanted to send my husband away. I just looked at her and smiled.

I mean, seriously? ๐Ÿ˜‚

If my husband married me because of makeup or because of how I looked with makeup on, then he probably wouldn't still be here. He knows me very well. He knows that I like keeping things natural and simple.

My natural hair, my face without makeup, and simple dressing are just part of who I am.

Of course, I like to look neat. I like to wear clean and nice clothes, take care of myself, and look presentable when I am going somewhere. I don't think there is anything wrong with wanting to look good. But there is a difference between looking good because you enjoy it and constantly trying to impress people.

I have seen people spend so much time worrying about what others will say about their appearance. "What will people think?" "Will they like my dress?" "Do I look attractive enough?" Honestly, that can be exhausting.

For me, I would rather wear something I am comfortable in than wear something uncomfortable just because other people think it looks better on me. What is the point of looking good when you are not even comfortable with yourself?

I also don't believe that a woman has to wear makeup to be beautiful. If you enjoy makeup, that's perfectly fine. If you love dressing up, wearing beautiful clothes, fixing your hair, and looking glamorous, that's also fine. We are all different, and what makes one person feel beautiful may not be the same thing that makes another person feel beautiful.

I think the most important thing is to be comfortable with yourself.

There are days when I may dress up more than usual, especially when the occasion calls for it. But even then, I still want to feel like myself. I don't want to look in the mirror and feel like I am trying too hard to become someone else.

So, if you ask me whether I try to look my best so that others will see me in a positive light or because I want to feel good about myself, my answer is simple, I do it mainly for myself and my comfort.

I don't need makeup to feel beautiful. I don't need expensive clothes to feel confident. And I definitely don't need to change myself just to get people's approval. Simple, natural, and comfortable, that is just me.

Thanks for checking on my blog and have a wonderful day
