SplinterGlossary: Secondary Market
Anything that is not purchased directly from Splinterlands' Shop is purchased from the secondary market.
For Splinterlands NFTs, there are four ways we can look at a secondary market:
- peer-to-peer transactions facilitated either on the Splinterlands card market, or a third-party website (like PeakMonsters), for a fee
- p2p transactions on the non-card market from Splinterlands
- booster packs purchased from a third-party website
- transactions of the tokenized versions of the in-game assets on specialized secondary markets like Hive-Engine (sidechain of Hive) or Atomic Hub on WAX.
The secondary markets are a very important part of the Splinterlands game economy and one can find sweet deals by checking them often.
