It is always good to remember those experiences that at some point in our lives filled us with joy. Today in memory week #28, I want to share with you my story and the bicycle. The main topic is:

How did you learn to ride a bicycle?

Siempre es bueno recordar esas vivencias que en algún momento de nuestras vidas nos llenaron de alegría. Hoy en la semana de memoria #28, quiero compartir con ustedes mi historia y la bicicleta. El tema principal es:
¿Cómo aprendiste a montar en bicicleta?

Ever since I was a child, I always wanted a bicycle, but my parents couldn't afford to buy it for me when I was very young. I remember I had my first bicycle when I was 11 years old.

Siempre desde niña, quise una bicicleta, pero por cuestiones de dinero de mis padres no me lo pudieron comprar siendo muy niña. Recuerdo que tuve mi primera bicicleta a los 11 años.

I didn't know how to ride a bike at this age yet. But I had a desire to learn and run 😂. It all started when my dad would grab me from behind and ride. It really didn't take me long to learn how to ride a bike.

No sabía andar en bicicleta a esta edad todavía. Pero tenía unas ganas de aprender y salir corriendo 😂. Todo empezó cuando mi papá me agarraba por detrás y andaba. Realmente no me costó mucho aprender andar en bicicleta.

After I managed to learn, I tell them that my euphoria was so great that I did not see the danger; I climbed up the concrete sidewalks and as I had no balance, more than once I took tremendous blows to my knees and arms. The next day I would go out and I didn't care if I fell again. Girl at last.

Después de lograr aprender, les cuento que mi euforia era tanta , que no veía el peligro; me subía por las aceras de concreto y como no tenía equilibrio, más de una vez me lleve tremendos golpes en mis rodillas y brazos. Al día siguiente salía y no me importaba si me volvía a caer. Niña al fin.

I remember when a kid invited me to a competition around where I live and I accepted. Wow that day I will never forget, because I took so much speed that the wheels of the bike were not even felt. I was in the lead and I already felt like a winner. Here I let go of the handlebars and lost control and hit my head on a parked car. I was very shocked with the blow, later I even had to undergo CAT scans. I will never really forget this episode. But I will tell you that even then I did not stop riding my bicycle.

Recuerdo cuando un niño, me invitó a una competencia por dónde vivo y acepte. Guao ese día nunca lo olvidaré, ya que tome tanta velocidad que las ruedas de la bicicleta ni se sentían. Llevaba la delantera y ya me sentía ganadora. Aquí me solté del manubrio y perdí el control y pegue mi cabeza de un carro que estaba estacionado. Quedé muy conmocionada con el golpe, después hasta tomografías me tuvieron que realizar. Realmente este episodio nunca olvidaré. Pero les cuento que ni así deje de andar en bicicleta.

This bike is still active; it has been repaired, painted and had its tires replaced. My children still use it.

Está bicicleta, aún está activa; se arregló, se pinto y se cambió sus cauchos . Mis hijos todavía la usan.
