La mamá de Gus consiguió un empleo. Tenía tantas ganas de trabajar, porque ya con lo poco que tenían no era suficiente para que la familia estuviera bien.
Gus lo había notado, a veces Gusi, su mamá decía que no quería mas comida para dársela a él, pero igual no le creía, ella siempre comía bastante.
Así que Gus se emocionó cuando supo del trabajo de mamá. Pero había algo que él no sabía, debían cambiar de escuela, porque mamá no podría buscarlo a la hora de salida si se quedaba en la escuela donde estaba.
Gus sintió mucho miedo! Dejar a sus amigos, a su maestra, y ¿ahora con quien jugaría?
Mamá le explicó que en la nueva escuela tendría otros amigos y otra maestra y que sus amigos anteriores seguirían siendo sus amigos.
Pero Gus no estaba muy convencido, no quería dejar su escuela!
Gusi llevó a Gus a conocer su nuevo trabajo, para él estaba super, era en un parque de diversiones con máquinas y muchos juegos. Mamá le dijo que luego de la escuela podría pasar un rato con ella ahí mientras comían. Gus asintió con la cabeza, emocionado.
Luego fueron a conocer la nueva escuela, Gus tenía miedo, pero mamá le tomó fuerte la mano y entraron juntos. Vieron un gran parque justo al entrar, y grandes dibujos de colores en las paredes.
Una señora muy sonriente los saludo. Hola, Gus! Mi nombre es Guseny y seré tu nueva maestra. ¿Quieres conocer el salón de clases?
Gus entró muy tímido, Guseny le iba enseñando todo mientras él veía con curiosidad. No había otros gusanitos, porque estaban en el comedor, así que poco a poco Gus fue entrando en confianza.
