Ironías del Universo

Valeria, una escéptica diseñadora gráfica, no solía creer lo que q sus amigas comentaban sobre la ley de la atracción. Era tan incrédula que podía entender que el universo manifiesta lo que deseamos con fuerza y aquello en lo que constantemente pensamos.
Tras una nueva ruptura amorosa que la desgarró, decidió que debía darle el beneficio de la duda al univero. Una semana después, mientras caminaba por el centro de su pueblo donde se realizaba una feria por el día del amor y la amistad, tropiezo sin querer y cayó al suelo. Rápido se incorporó, pero antes de poder recoger su bolsa, un perrito la atrapó y se la llevó a rastras.
Valeria, desconcertada, lo siguio para obtener de vuelta su cartera, pero el perro siguió hasta una librería donde logró al fin detenerlo y recuperar lo suyo.
Cuando dio la vuelta, leyó en un cartel “Librería Espiritual” , sin dudas esto llamó su atención y decidió entrar, pensando que el nombre del lugar, quizás, era pura propaganda.
Caminó por un inmenso pasillo y allí, en un estante empolvado, vio un antiguo diario con una frase enigmática: "A lo que te resistes, persiste; En lo que te enfocas, se manifiesta".
Recordó que le daría el beneficio de la duda al universo así que lo compró y se lo llevó a casa. A pesar de su incredulidad, quedó cautivada por su contenido y todos los hechos y testimonios que este nombraba.
Así que decidió probar los ejercicios de visualización que sugería el diario, imaginando su vida ideal.
Alrededor de un mes después, fue a un concierto donde conoció a Daniel, un músico que parecía sacado de sus fantasías, la misma sonrisa, la misma cicatriz en la ceja, incluso, la misma obsesión por el café con canela. Al hablar, conectaron como ella tanto deseo hacerlo con un hombre.
Todo marchaba viento en popa hasta que descubrió un "pequeño" detalle, Daniel era el ex de una compañera de trabajo.
No era justo que tuviera que elegir entre su corazón o respetar ciertos códigos éticos. Supo entonces, que atraer lo que deseas también implica asumir las consecuencias. Al parecer, el universo, en su ironía cósmica, la puso frente a un inesperado dilema ¿Fue la Ley de Atracción o sólo una cruel coincidencia?

Valeria, a skeptical graphic designer, didn’t usually believe what her friends said about the law of attraction. She was so incredulous that she couldn’t understand how the universe could manifest what we strongly desire and what we constantly think about.
After a new heartbreak that tore her apart, she decided to give the universe the benefit of the doubt. A week later, while walking through the town center where a fair was being held for Love and Friendship Day, she accidentally tripped and fell to the ground. She quickly got up, but before she could pick up her bag, a little dog grabbed it and dragged it away.
Valeria, bewildered, followed him to get her wallet back, but the dog kept going until it reached a bookstore where he finally stopped and she was able to recover her things.
When she turned around, she read a sign that said “Spiritual Bookstore”—this definitely caught her attention, and she decided to go inside, thinking the name was probably just marketing.
She walked through a long hallway and there, on a dusty shelf, she saw an old journal with an enigmatic phrase: “What you resist, persists; what you focus on, manifests.”
She remembered she had promised to give the universe the benefit of the doubt, so she bought it and took it home. Despite her disbelief, she was captivated by its content and all the events and testimonies it mentioned.
So, she decided to try the visualization exercises the journal suggested, imagining her ideal life.
About a month later, she went to a concert where she met Daniel, a musician who seemed straight out of her fantasies—the same smile, the same scar on his eyebrow, even the same obsession with cinnamon coffee. When they talked, they connected just as she had always wanted to with a man.
Everything was going perfectly until she discovered one “small” detail: Daniel was the ex of a coworker.
It didn’t seem fair to have to choose between her heart and respecting certain ethical codes. She then understood that attracting what you desire also means facing the consequences. Apparently, the universe, in its cosmic irony, had placed her in an unexpected dilemma. Was it the Law of Attraction or just a cruel coincidence?
