No doubt that technology has gone too far in our life, unlike before that we can go any length to look for informations. Things are so easier now that you will get any information in just a blink of an eyes.
But then, this same technology has done lots of bad in our lives in so many ways, honestly we have been using this same technology for bad things and we hardly use it for good things. That aside as for the students. We hardly even get serious now. If you asked any questions from a student you will hardly see that they will remember. This is because we all uses more of internet now to our brain.
No doubt that internet as make each and everyone of us to be extremely lazy. Ai is now available and everyone is just going to net to do whatever they want. I remembered when I was a student, I don't know about AI then. But I must say that I used internet for my research. Till this moment there are still some things I remember in my research because I did a lot of work online looking for what to read and join together.
If it happens that I'm just graduating now, I bet it with you that I will use AI and I will not even bother to use my head, this shows that the more innovation in technology, the more we all become so lazy to work.
On the other hand, on hardworking students or smart students based on exam. I will say that giving exams to students doesn't determined how smart they are or how dull these students are. It is good to know that we have three categories of students, well I can mention few of them, the gifted and talented, the average people and the low learners. These people have different ways of learning something, from what I typed there you will realize that you can't compare the gifted to the average or the low learners. Some students needs more time to prepare for exams but not all teachers will know that.
Although exams are very good because it allows students to read, honestly some students doesn't read at all, until when they realize that exams is approaching, people like me now, if exams doesn't reach two weeks I won't read, but that doesn't mean exams can be determined for the students performance.
If you really want to know that exams ain't been used to determined the students performance, asked them questions you set few days after which they are done with their exams that was then you will realize that most of them just read to pass.
If you really want to make the students to learn, then they find another means of adopting a good way to make them learn. Technology has gone too far, it's so hard to stop the students from using their phone or telling them not to bring their phone to school.
But if there's ever a way to stop students from bringing their phone then, that should be a good way because the students will adopt ways to learn, but I don't think that is possible.
