Hello, Splinterlands fans. We’re back for another week, along with new opportunities to grow and improve in this fascinating Web3 video game. This time, I’ll talk about a small investment I’ve been making—which isn’t anything new in this special section—but something I plan to do more often so I can get more cards and level up some of the ones I already have. In addition to the usual opening of Starter Packs, I’ve also invested some of the few GLINTS I have in cards. I need to improve my deck as soon as possible so I can get back to playing in Modern.

40th Starter Pack Opening
That’s right, folks—we’ve already reached the first 40 Starter Pack openings in this special section. Ever since I started playing Splinterlands (actually, ever since I bought my Spellbook), I’ve gotten into the habit of buying, opening, and sharing the Conclave Arcana edition cards with you on my blog, and it’s already become quite a tradition. Some fellow players have told me I’ve had really good luck with these packs, and boy, do I completely agree with that—honestly. I’ve really enjoyed it, even when I mostly get common cards or just a single rare card, which is what happened this time.

As I mentioned at the beginning, I’ve decided to spend the few GLINTS I have left in my Splinterlands account—which I earned by playing in Modern (something I haven’t done lately due to a lack of time and resources)—on buying some common and rare cards to see what new ones I might get. I’d really like to do this more often, to be honest, but I don’t think it’ll last long since I don’t have enough GLINTS to buy cards for the whole week, which is just getting started. But anyway, we’ll figure out a solution over the next few days, so don’t worry.

Two Rare Cards
Now let's talk about a couple of rare cards that I managed to buy in the Rewards section as well, just to mix things up a bit. I would have liked to buy more, but I have to save the few GLINTS I have for the cards I plan to buy for the next chapters. I really like the chance to get cards of different rarities—not just common, but also rare, epic, and legendary. However, I understand how hard it is to get cards of the latter two rarities since they aren’t priced as reasonably as the common and rare ones in Rewards. But for one reason or another, that makes them even more desirable.

Hubiera querido comprar más, pero tengo que ahorrar los pocos GLINTS que tengo para las cartas que pienso comprar también para los siguientes capítulos. Me gustan mucho la posibilidad de obtener cartas de diferentes rarezas, no solo comunes, sino también raras, épicas y legendarias. A New Level Up
To wrap up this chapter in the best possible way, I found nothing else but a level-up for a card that had been sitting there, collecting copies, ever since I started playing Splinterlands. For a moment, I thought I’d never be able to level it up, since it was a card that I ’d only very rarely get from Daily Mission rewards and on Rewards section. But thanks to my earlier investment in buying common cards and opening them for you all, I was lucky enough to get it once more, allowing me to obtain the minimum number needed to level it up.
Para finalizar de la mejor manera posible este capítulo no encontré otra cosa más que una subida de nivel a una carta que tenía ahí acumulando copias desde que empecé con esto de jugar en Splinterlands. Por un momento pensé que nunca iba a poder hacerla subir de nivel ya que era una carta que muy de vez en cuando me salía en recompensas de Misiones Diarias y en Rewards.
