This is the full chaos legion monster collection minus the fire splinter. With the new formats coming up and the new competition in the game it's going to be important to max out the deck as much as possible while the cards are still cheap.
I'm still picking up older cards whenever there is a good deal on the table but now it's time to start filling out this part of my deck.
This is going to be done with my rental income which thankfully is growing steadily again.
My target is to fill out a maxed deck by buying cards on a weekly or bi-weekly basis from the market. There is a lot of value to be had in buying directly form the market rather than packs and people are starting to sell them now.
I love this part of the game where prices are dropping down for these new cards. You won't find much in the way of older cards for less than $200 so these are all bargains to me.
This weeks purchase.
Card: Flying Squid.
Rarity: Common.
Splinter: Water.
Price: $35.00
Abilities: Reach, Blind, Backfire.
This is a card that will come in very handy for those high melee games.
Water strategy for me is usually going to be a strong tank in Lord arianthus with a few magic cards and a tank heal at the back of my lineup.
I don't have many magic cards for the high mana battles and this gives a good back up card for when my tank gets killed and allows for a strong second position.
With blind and backfire you would hope that it can take some of the ranged damage and inflict some back at them. A common for $35 is good value and had to be bough to fill out my collection. Over the next few months i will keep picking up cards wherever possible and fill out a maxed deck.

If you haven't played the game before then now is the best time to join. Today is much better than tomorrow and a lot better than later.
Cards worth a few cents now will have a much higher value in the future as the print runs out. We have a strong community and seen this happen every time as it grows with the game.
