This will be a new card for me to play with.
With the introduction of chaos legion i am seeing a lot of new cards and strategies. It's taking a while to mix some of these into my old strategies which is a lot of fun to do. These share your battle posts are a great motivation to buy some and try some.
Over time i will find the best mix of cards for my deck and probably rent out some of the new chaos legion versions if they don't fit as a lot of them are similar to older versions.
This weeks challenge is "Chaos Knight".
I didn't have one in my collection but it was cheap enough to pick one off the market at max level for just $28.
The card looks like it could be useful in certain scenarios with shield and inspire.
This was a match in Diamond III.
Ruleset: Lost Legendaries.
Mana: 21.
Starting Lineup.
For this match I was up against a legendary summoner who was +1 melee. They had a strong lineup but without shield their whole team was vulnerable to my line up with Silvershield assassin boosted by inspire.
I put a zero mana at the back as always and shield repair which is always a useful card.
Life is my favorite splinter and has a lot of useful cards to mix it up for the different rule sets. It's also the best defense against legendary summoners in my opinion.
First kill.
Without any shield my assassin took out their last monster in the lineup. It was a quick battle with my sneak and opportunity monsters doing a lot of damage to their line up and the chaos knight shielded from their tank.
While the first kill was just their slow monster, it did leave their whole back line open to attack and i knew that i was going to take it apart very fast from this point.
Round 3.
It was easy from this point onwards as the other player had no defense against a sneak attack and serpentine spy is usually deadly but they lost that card in the first round.
Without that attack option their line up was very limited and didn't pose much of a threat to mine. Furious chicken is the most useful card in the game and especially played with life can soak up two attacks and give you a huge advantage. Worth every penny.
Finishing lineup.
I finished strongly with five of my six starting cards still in play and the match over in the third round which is a quick finish.
I do like the new chaos knight card but it won't be one that i use regularly. It will only fit certain rules since i have a lot of the older cards which i'm more used to playing.

If you haven't played the game before then now is the best time to join. Today is much better than tomorrow and a lot better than later.
