Chocolate sweet potato cake is a sweet potato cake that is baked without using flour. Combined with a sprinkling of cocoa powder and also combined with a mixture of chocolate bars produces a cake that melts with full chocolate. Though the original is steamed sweet potato, the sweetness and texture make this cake have an unusual taste.

This is my first chocolate sweet potato cake, previously I found this recipe not baked. Only stirred with chocolate then frozen, but here I want to bake it first so that it produces a real cake like a cake made from flour.

100 gr sweet potato
2 pieces bananas
1 chocolate bar
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
¼ teaspoon baking powder

Step 1

Peel the sweet potato then cut the sweet potato into several pieces according to taste.

Boil the sweet potatoes in boiling water until perfectly tender, make sure by checking the scale.

Next, also cut the chocolate into small sizes so that it melts quickly when melted, then team up until the chocolate melts.

The first bite can't be helped, the texture is really soft, but not hollow like a typical sponge cake. It's dense yet melt-in-your-mouth soft, the sweet potato is left as smooth as it is so that when combined in chocolate the texture blends perfectly.
