Hello Everyone in this amazing community.
We all have that ambition and goals in life to do something that ends up not being done due to a lot reasons, for me one of my major Career goals is to Get a lot of things done in my Gospel Music Ministry.
I have been working on a project for more than 2 years now, it's my first studio Album.
There have been a lot of challenges over the years from making the project completed.
First the Expenses, the cost of productions and sessions in studio is now Triple of what we do pay then,
Previously per track my producer collects Forty thousand Naira per session, but now it costs Eighty thousand naira, and each sessions requires you to pay extra money for Electricity (Fuel/generator) and other fees like backups hire and the likes.
The Transportation from my place to the studio is also very expensive, this is because of the recent hike in the price of things..
Luckily for me, I started the project having the mindset of doing just a track but after much thought I decided to make it an album project, with that in mind my producer reduced some of the prices in a very significant amount.
So far so good, I have been able to write 15 tracks, all the beats have been made, I layed voice on 8 tracks already, the others are yet to be done.
I remember then Moving from my place to Otukpo usually take up to 2 hours and then the prices Vary from one thousand five hundred naira to two thousand naira, but now things are so costly to hang it cost up to four thousand naira to reach here. The transportion cost alone is an impediment to me.
So I have deep passion for music, I love listening to Good music, most of the time I listened to gospel music, yeah coz that's just all I want to do. I want to propagate the gospel of Jesus Christ to people all around the world.
Here is my Top Goal for this year:
Releasing 2 singles this year
Making a collaboration with a bigger Gospel Artist
- Releasing at least 2 single this year is one of my biggest goal career wise.
I am already working on getting all things done just in order to do that, two of the Track I might likely release is living Hope and Eternal God both of these songs are my favourite on the album project, I believe The song would be impactful to People life and draw people closer to God. This is the main aim of propagating the Gospel.
- Making Collaboration with Owei Abutu is on the priority list.
Owei abutu is the Popular Gospel artists that sang Pages of My Heart. This won't be an easy one to pull out, but I have been reaching out to him about it, but he has always been very busy with shows outside the country and the likes.
Hopefully I might get to collaborate with Him this year.
